Bab 132: What A Heartless Woman
One sunny day;
Song Xia sat on the balcony with a brush on her hand, her eyes completely focused on painting. She made a gentle stroke.
A laugh came from behind her, "Hahaha, is that a dog??" Song Xia's face was dark, "It's a tree."
"..Lol, what?! A tree? How does that look like a tree??" Tang Yan couldn't contain his laughter anymore.
Song Xia stood up and painted his face. Tang Yan was taken aback as he shouted, "You-"
Song Xia laughed as she stuck out her tongue, "Tease me more, huh! Now, you're the one who looks like a dog-"
She suddenly stumbled on something and fell backwards. Tang Yan quickly caught her.
Song Xia was taken aback as she stabilized herself. Tang Yan also withdrew his hand. He chuckled, "You're so clumsy like a pup."
"Who did you call a pup?!" Song Xia chased after the guy who was running away, with the brush in her hand. "Come here! Let this big sister paint your face!"
While running around, the both of them had reached downstairs in a blink of an eye.
On the sofa, Ellen was taking a nap. Tang Yan sprinted behind him as he taunted while mouthing, "Come here if you dare!"
Song Xia widened her eyes as she mouthed back, "If you're a man, come here!"
Tang Yan didn't listen to her and kept swaying here and there, behind Ellen. 'I won't come there; what can you do to me?'
Song Xia bit the bullet and slowly came near the both of them. She quietly darted towards the sofa and was about to catch Tang Yan when he shifted to the right.
She was startled and accidentally fell towards Ellen. Her eyes widened in horror as she looked at the man who had awaken.
"..Er, Ellen, I.."
Ellen had a dazed expression from having woken up suddenly. He rubbed his eyes and looked at the woman, who was lying in his embrace.
"..What are you doing?" His eyes slowly gained clarity, his deep and hoarse voice sounding extremely attractively.
He had been woken up twice in a row from her. Both times she was taking advantage of him. Then, she never took responsibility for her actions.
What a heartless woman.
The heartless woman, Song Xia, blinked her eyes, "I.." Her gaze fell on his shirt as she sharply exclaimed, "..I'm so sorry!!!"
She immediately got out of his embrace and looked at his ruined shirt with a guilty expression, "Er, this.."
She raised the brush in her hand, "I didn't mean to ruin your shirt.." Her voice was very small like a mosquito.
She glared at Tang Yan, who was gloating on the side. 'It's all his fault!!!'
Ellen yawned as he looked at his white shirt, which had brown paints on it. Amused, his lips curled up.
"So, you were doing this when I was asleep?"
"NO! I can explain.. Argh!" Song Xia rubbed her temples helplessly. "Just.. take of your shirt first!"
"..."
Silence ensued in the whole house. Ellen wasn't the only one who was shocked, Tang Yan's jaws had dropped.
He yelled, "You two.. Acting like that, when kids are watching! At least, do it in private!"
Song Xia subconsciously blurted out, "Where are the kids?"
Tang Yan turned to look at the screen. Author Sae smiled sheepishly, "I'm the kid here.. and some of the readers too.. Err.."
Song Xia sighed, "What I meant was for you to change into something else! I didn't mean it in any other way!"
Tang Yan smiled slyly, "Who knows?"
"..." Who knows, my foot!
"Whatever! Even if there's someone with vulgar thoughts, it's you!" Song Xia shouted.
Tang Yan was shocked by her sudden blame.
"What?! I didn't do anything! You were the one who jumped into Ellen's arms! You even wanted him to take off his shirt so you ruined it intentionally! I can completely see through you and your ulterior motives!"
"YOU-"
"Stop it!" The two people's anger suddenly deflated like a balloon when they heard the devil speak.
They obediently shut their mouths and the chaotic living room became quiet once again.
The slightly irritated Ellen, rubbed his temples. He looked at the two and asked, "Why are you two fighting?"
Tang Yan spoke, "She's the one who started it first!" Song Xia sneered, "You were the one who kept taunting me constantly!"
"Why did you jump into his arms then? You think I don't know about your ulterior motives towards Ellen?!"
"Hah, you're talking as if I intentionally dived into his arms! And why do you even care whether I have any motives or not?! Are you his wife or what?!"
"I'm not his wife! I'm his best friend, a sworn-brother! So, you do admit that you have ulterior motives! Ha, caught you off-guard!"
"Sh*t, when did I admit to having ulterior motives! I just said that even if I had any motives, it doesn't matter to you!"
"Why won't it matter, huh?! I said that I'm his bro! Why won't I care about someone coveting my brother?!"
"I-"
"Shut up." The living room suddenly felt chilly.
Song Xia pursed her lips, feeling wronged. "You always cut me off! I'm really starting to think that the one you like is not me, but this dog!"
"Hey! Who did you call a dog!?" Tang Yan's focus was somewhere else.
"You!" Song Xia furiously yelled back.
Ellen sighed before shouting. "WILL THE BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP?!"
The two were startled. They glanced at each other and humphed.

"I think the two of you are acting as if you own the place. Should I kick you two out as the landlord?"
Ellen squinted his eyes at the two.
Song Xia brought her sob story, "After my accident happened, you were the one who helped me.. I've lived here for months and have thought of the house as my own.. I guess, it was just my overthinking.. I don't belong anywhere.."
Ellen's heart softened. He was going to say something when Tang Yan sneered. "Don't use emotional blackmailing in this!"
Song Xia glared at him.
He ignored her gaze and said proudly, "I have stayed in this house all these years! Ellen, you were the one who invited me especially to stay here so I know you won't kick me out! Just kick this stray cat out!"
Song Xia widened her eyes in disbelief, "Who did you call a stray cat?!" Tang Yan smirked, "You're the stray cat!"
Ellen coldly said, "Tang Yan, don't cross the line."
Tang Yan was enraged, "She's the one who should be kicked out! I was just telling the truth-"
"You'll be the one to be kicked out."
