Fifteen minutes after the young informer had left, Aftaab Ali quietly excused himself from Kefayat Zahir. Zahir didn't ask any questions, merely nodding in silent understanding.

Moments later, Zahir passed the glass in his hand to Shawn Florence. "I need to check on something.", he whispered, his voice barely audible, "Stay here. Don't move. Keep an eye out for anyone acting suspicious."

"Not alone!", Florence protested immediately, shaking his head with steely determination, "I'm coming with you." His tone left no room for argument, dismissing the idea of the 'man' going off by himself.

"We need to stay focused on the target.", Zahir sighed, his frustration barely concealed, "It's just a hunch, nothing more."
