If he had know that it was going to be the last time he would every see Bella he would have fought for her, died for her, begged for her to live but instead he chose to stay silent. He chose to feel betrayed and lonely when he found out she was pregnant. It was his fault, Bella's death was his fault and he could barely hold himself together.

He tried to fight his own thoughts refusing to let his guilty eat at him anymore. It was all in vain. He knew better, he had a chance to fight for her but chose to stay silent. To pretend that nothing happened, he left her there to die. He left her alone with that cruel monster when she needed him the most.

Jomei could no longer stand and dropped down to his knees. He placed his forehead against the spot she last stood and cried as blood slowly stained the carpet. Then it hit him! He needed to atone for his mistakes! He refused to let his stepmother find out about his love child.
