Shi did not return to the private room after his abrupt departure. After a while, the five-minute countdown to the commencement of the event began. Yagi frowned as he looked at the large screen in his room and then, at the large arena filled with obscuring fog, probably from dry ice.
The arena looked mysterious and ominous.
His eyes turned to the door before standing up and stepping out of the room. He was not worried about Shi's safety, but he had a feeling he might find out something about his mysterious bodyguard if he found him.
His lips stretched into a slight smile.
"Sir, the event is about to start. You might miss the start if you leave now." The attendant standing outside his viewing room said politely.
Yagi just waved a hand to indicate he did not care. He had not come to watch the event anyway. He wanted to find out more about the Anarkh and reassess the possibility of acquiring it. If he missed the event, it would not matter.
