Overall, the novels were doing well and the response was mostly positive. Some readers had complained about the somewhat significant change in style, and there were even some rumours of the use of a ghost writer.

However, these were small murmurings which did not have impact on her popularity. Therefore, Bo Qian did not think it was necessary to respond. It would only draw more attention to these naysayers and cause an even bigger problem.

Hu Lei updated him on her latest work, though she did not go into details. She was quite uncertain about the direction that the book would take, especially with the interference of the other her. In any case, the book was not urgent.

"What if this is my last book?" Hu Lei asked as Bo Qian escorted her out of his office.
