Bab 11: CHAPTER-10 FIRST MISSION
Everyone got off the helicopter and headed for the mission area .Team was given clear map so finding the target was easy .They stopped in front of a small cave .Riaaz told everyone to wear glasses,masks ,gloves and safety boots to which everyone complied .
Fairy didn't speak much ,only kept on observing . She had a serious expression ,no one knew why . Spider king on the other hand opened its mouth for every new thing it saw .Fin was busy dressing up so he didn't observe them .
Everyone went inside with search lights because it was pitch dark inside. They didn't find anything strange inside ,they collected few samples of rocks and soil and decided to head forward.
As they traveled they saw strange lights on the ceiling of the cave .Riaaz beamed his torch light towards the lights .Suddenly everyone's heart skipped a beat , they started shivering without any exception.
They saw gigantic bats four times the size of normal bats on the ceiling of cave .They had never seen anything like that before . Even the Spider king on Fin's shoulder gasped for breath .He could fight one or two but there was literally hundreds. Fairy stared at them with cold eyes . She was ready to caste magic if they attacked .
Lily ordered hurriedly "Everyone retreat immoderately"
Fortunately the bats didn't bother to attack otherwise the entire team would have been wiped out. They immediately called the mission department via satellite phone and departed safely.
Fin couldn't believe that the mission would be that dangerous fortunately nothing happened .Eva didn't talk for two days after the incident .
Everyone got back to the mission department and produced their samples .Mission department awarded everyone 20 points .Team members were thoroughly shocked by the incident so, they didn't care for celebrations .They hurriedly bid farewell to their team mates and disbanded the team.
Everyone knew it was time for improving their skills and decided not to put deadline for others .If they had a chance they could again form a team but if they couldn't at least they could remain as friends.
When Fin finally got to his room ,Fairy suddenly caste her isolation barrier and told in a serious tone "Fin you need to leave this place immediately".
Fin was stunned by Fairy's remark .He asked seriously "What happened?". He understood Fairy a little . She wouldn't speak nonsense when she was serious .
Fairy didn't answer but asked him a question "Tell me everything you know from the moment you are born".
Fin didn't understand what she discovered but complied to her request without asking any more questions "My parents arranged some scientists to give me training .I was given seven years intense training in my home .After that I entered this institute". He explained all the details of the first test and removed the details of him gaining a crystal ,instead told he got a fruit .
After listening to everything , Fairy explained "I have observed your campus and found that everywhere you go there are cameras monitoring you .No normal school would put cameras inside the bed room .I think you are being used as a lab rat .I have many conjectures to proves this ,
1.I think your parents being school teachers couldn't have access to the scientists .They must have met some people .Those people are related to this school I think meaning you are already in their hand from the moment you opened your eyes.
2.I think the elders you met after your first test were most likely immortals and the test you went through was also created by an immortal because it is impossible to create a test in another dimension without having a space element , a tier 1 unique skill.
When you become immortal your skills would undergo evolution and you could use it to create many things .Those elders might have expected some kind of treasure from that ancestor. Good thing was you swallowed it otherwise you would have been killed to silence any evidence.
3.This institute missions are all related to exploring some areas which is strange .When you entered the cave I had sensed magical energy meaning in the cave meaning they are searching for magical items . I think there is a high chance that immortals are running this institute and using you people as their arms and legs to get what they want.
All though I don't know what is their final goal ,I am 90% sure that it is not something good ."
Fin's brain started spinning , he didn't know that the moment he was born he was already being a puppet of someone . He was speechless.
He organized his thought and asked "Fairy I can't leave this place ,not now at least because my parents are under their control .The moment I make my move my family will be eliminated to silence all the evidence .I can only stay here for the time being ."
Fairy understood the situation completely and sighed " Don't worry if you follow my instructions and become an immortal ,you can protect your family and have the strength to at least escape ."
Fin replied "I don't want to escape ,I will use their own methods against themselves and entirely uproot this organization .They have dared to lay hands on my family ,I can't simply let go of this".
Fairy was surprised and secretly praised him inside "For that to happen you need to work harder and become the most strongest immortal in the world".
Fin replied without any hesitation in his eyes "If I can't even protect my beloved ones , what is the point of being an immortal .I will do my best to reach the apex and uproot this tumor from this world".
His determination had been thoroughly flared up .All of a sudden it seemed like he matured early .Strange purple crystal in his brain resonated with his emotions .
Fairy was satisfied with his answer .She didn't want to waste her master's precious inheritance on a lazy bum .Seeing his determination she appreciated her decision in choosing him .She started explaining the plan she had come up with "I will create a small room in different dimension so that no one can spy upon you ." Fin nodded.
She continued "Let me tell you stages of cultivating your mind. In the first stage you will have to eliminate all unnecessary thoughts in your mind .It is just like when a person has is so fat ,he can't simply reduce his weight just by training unless he control his food intake .
So you need to control your thoughts and eliminate all useless things in your brain.This would help you to increase your efficiency of your brain dramatically. Normal humans can only use 10 % of their brain .To increase it step by step ,you also need spirit stones .Thanks to the inheritance you don't have to worry about that .
You need to take one spirit stone everyday and do meditation keeping it in your hand. Spirit stone will gradually speed up your brain activity .When you reach the end of this stage ,you will be able to experience 15% of brain activity which will unlock some new abilities inside you .15% of the brain activity is the starting point in the road to immortality. By then no normal mortal will be a match for you .You will experience the power when you reach that stage don't worry"
Fin listened to her every word with utmost concentration .He learned so many new things and got excited to experience the so called power.
Fairy started chanting something and after half an hour she waved her small hand and said "Its been created". She looked pale after casting the spell clearly she was drained of energy after creating a new dimensional room. Fin realized the important lesson that 'everything comes with a price'.
There was no sign of anything when one looked with normal eyes. When Fin touched the area where Fairy waved her staff ,he realized his fingers disappeared ,he immediately removed his hand ,astonished , next time he directly entered without any further thought and disappeared completely.
This dimensional room was surrounded by some strange glowing walls .When Fin touched it he could feel the ripples in space .There was nothing inside the room ,only empty space .Fairy entered the room and looked around .
She was satisfied by her creation . She threw the ring to Fin and told "Read all the books inside the ring and use spirit stones once a day .I think it will last for at least 2 years .Keep the ring here when you come out of the room". Fin nodded and started his first training session.
By this time in a secret room ,
Two students stood respectfully before a dark shadow .The dark shadow was none other than Mike and if Fin was here he could recognize the students in one glance ,they were his farmer teammates Riaaz and Lily .Riaaz said "Elder we have observed the targets you have given us .We didn't find anything unusual".
After the first test Mike decided to keep an eye on Fin to ensure he didn't get any treasure.But to his surprise Fin's performance in the next second and third tests were next to ordinary .He was not a fool ,he knew Fin might have deliberately become a low key in the 2nd test .
So he planted his general candidates from last year to monitor Fin's moments secretly as he didn't want to offend his sister but at the same time didn't want to give up on a potential treasure.
Mike told casually "You did well , keep your eyes on him little longer .Notify me if you find even a little change. Collect your rewards in the library".
The moment they heard the last sentence ,Riaaz and Lily became extremely happy .They hurriedly said "Thank you elder" .
