Leng Shaoting wasn't picky about restaurants, but he chose a fancy one with a romantic ambiance when he was with Gu Ning. Although they didn't talk much sitting across each other, they enjoyed being together.

Leng Shaoting ordered a steak, while Gu Ning only ordered a cup of coffee because she had already eaten.

Leng Shaoting frowned a little with obvious dissatisfaction. "Aren't you afraid that it'll affect your sleep?"

"Not at all. It has no effect on me," Gu Ning explained. In fact, Gu Ning had her power, so she could fall asleep or stay awake whenever she wanted.

Leng Shaoting didn't insist then.
