Bab 649: Time Flies

In the graveyard filled with pine and cypress.

Both of their clothes fluttered in the evening wind.

Pei Ziheng was the first to speak. "Be careful not to catch a cold."

Xia Ling lifted her hand to wipe her tears. "Why are you here?" She did not want him to see her weak and pathetic state as he was no longer someone she could rely on.

Pei Ziheng knelt by her side and looked at Shaohui's grave. In a low and sad voice, he said, "Do you remember? Many years ago, we said that we would spend Chinese valentine's day together every year. This year, I thought that I wouldn't be able to spend it with you, so I thought of spending it with Shaohui."

His voice slowly disappeared in the sunset.

There was a dull pain in her heart. She remembered that when the two of them had a good relationship, she smiled and promised him that they would spend every Chinese valentine's day together.

In a flash, everything had changed.
