Bab 683: Argument

"But..." Mr Lin looked up as his voice stiffened, "The news I got is different."

"What sort of news you've got? Lin Yazhi's heart skipped a beat.

Mr Lin smiled, "Xiang Jinxi said he is okay to meet you and he liked a pure-type of girl like you. I'm sure you'll get along. Meet up tomorrow then, I'll let you know the time and place later."

"But dad, I already have a boyfriend, I can't go meet him!"

"Break up."

Lin Yazhi slammed the table, "Dad, you're too much! If I say I'm not going I'll not be going. I won't be forced to do things that goes against my conscience!"

"Yazhi, I'm doing this for your future, why are you so stubborn!"

"Don't sugarcoat that! Don't get me involved in your struggle for power, I won't agree to it!"

As she said that, she ran up the stairs.

"It's late, stay for the night!" Mrs Lin looked worriedly at her husband before shouting towards the stairs.
