SPANK! SPANK! SPANK! SPANK!
Shu Yidan studiously ignored the sound of the little girl getting her butt spanked. As much of a protagonist Xiaoyi was, her poor ass would still ache after getting spanked like this. However, Feng Shiyao should be more worried about bearing his fellow apprentice sister's ire…
From the event playing out right now, the conclusion of the battle between Xiaoyi and Feng Shiyao could be guessed. The Mountbatten Sword Intent's sturdy nature of Earth helped Xiaoyi directly defend against the Wind and Fire domain of Feng Shiyao. Unfortunately, the unorthodox nature of dual-cultivation offensive techniques and Feng Shiyao's own skill in wielding them made Xiaoyi suffer a loss.
Feng Shiyao's skill with illusions was really something. Poor Xiaoyi had her five senses messed with and when she was completely exhausted in both stamina and qi, the spanking began.
Luckily for Xiaoyi, Shu Yidan secretly flicked a pill and after a quick recovery, the defensive powers of her qi were quickly engaged.
As expected, with the defensive power of qi, the spanking didn't hurt at all. The punishment was quickly done.
"Remember elder sister's teachings well! If you dare to attack Brother Shu again…" Hearing Feng Shiyao's protective voice threaten the little girl, Shu Yidan knew it went in one ear and out of the other.
"Brother Shu…" Feng Shiyao looked a little miffed despite her victory. After all, Shu Yidan himself passed Xiaoyi a pill to help her recover. Understanding his intentions, she of course limited the administered spanking.
"You have comprehended a Domain now, and can step into Nascent Soul Realm at any time you wish. Thus, you should learn to be benevolent. After all, a Qi Refining cultivator won't be in your vision." Shu Yidan's words were naturally false; Xiaoyi was an existence who went against heaven. Her battle ability would eventually rise to the point she could cut down Nascent Souls.
"Yes elder sister, you should learn benevolence. Don't believe for a moment that our next battle will turn out the same way…" And Xiaoyi wasn't affected by her loss for a moment, acting like an unrepentant battle maniac.
"If Brother Shu wasn't benevolent towards you, you wouldn't dare say those words! You little brat…" Shu Yidan turned his eyes away, not wanting to hear the argument anymore.
Everything else was inconsequential. It was time to wait for his dear master's return.

Some time passed. Xiaoyi and Feng Shiyao argued again and battled again.
While Feng Shiyao was pushed harder, some surreptitiously sent advice via divine sense later and she was victorious once more.
This time, even Shu Yidan couldn't be benevolent and Feng Shiyao went ahead with the spanking without holding back.
Feng Shiyao grabbed Xiaoyi, lifting her by the waist and holding her in a horizontal posture. As a Golden Core cultivator, her strength was quite high and as a underaged kid, Xiaoyi's weight was quite low.
With a pull, Xiaoyi's jade buttocks were unveiled. The surprised expression on Xiaoyi's face was worth seeing, as a one palm struck down on her bare skin.
And like that, one hand to hold and one hand to spank, punishment time unfolded.
"Ahh… Ehh… Don't hit me anymore… It hurts…" Without the protection of qi, Xiaoyi couldn't bear the spanking without a word. Not to mention, this time her pants were pulled down and her butt was laid bare for punishment.
"Junior Brother… chastise this tyrannical woman…" Shu Yidan completely ignored that pleading voice as always.
"Ha… ha…" There was heavy breathing now. Feng Shiyao seemed to be getting into the spanking for some reason. Automatically, a thin mist emanated from her body, the stimulation power of her Dao Domain and the aphrodisiacal ability of her cultivation technique merging together to plague Xiaoyi.
Shu Yidan immediately flicked an anti-stimulation antidote at Xiaoyi. Feng Shiyao had her quirks, but he couldn't allow the brainwashing mist to touch an underage kid.
As for spanking out the battle obsession out of this idiotic nitwit, huh? Shu Yidan didn't mind that at all…
After enough spanking that Xiaoyi's protestations turned hoarse, Feng Shiyao still wasn't interested in stopping. And just then, a single stream of silver swordlight flashed…
…And was repelled by a stream of azure bladelight.
"Feng Shiyao! Come here!" Before another swordlight flashed, an azure wind immediately carried away Feng Shiyao with a speed akin to teleportation!
"So you were the one who tricked Xiaoyi into that assassination attempt on me, huh? I should have known no one would simply end an assassination attempt with one Qi Refining existence! Thankfully, my preparations to face you were completed beforehand!" Shu Yidan looked at the azure-cloaked man who sent the stream of swordlight.
The stream of swordlight was a non-fatal attack that would have simply knocked Feng Shiyao out with any ill consequences. That said, this attack was enough for Shu Yidan to establish hostility with that man.
The unrelenting spanking of Xiaoyi was an attempt to provoke that man, forcing him to attack first. Without that, Shu Yidan couldn't simply attack. That said, now that the man had attacked, the torment that Xiaoyi's butt had gone through had meaning!
"So you've made preparations, huh? Let's see what preparations shall let a Golden Core stand against a Nascent Soul!" The man's calm voice was like the clear ringing of a bell.
"Naturally, what else could it be but the Azurewind Domain? Do you think your skill is enough to stand against the might of the Seventh Generation Sect Master?!" Shu Yidan's words were filled with ferocity.
At Shu Yidan's words, the azure wind surrounded him while countless array-lines glowed on every surface in the Cultivation Residence. A vast azure wind blade formed at Shu Yidan's call, while winds all around the residence began circulating.
In response, the man slowly began walking forward, yet with every footstep the aura of domination surged. Like a sword unsheathed, cleaving through the boundless wind!
"Whether my skill is enough to stand against the might of the Seventh Generation Sect Master is unknown. Yet, your skill isn't enough to bring forth the might of the Seventh Generation Sect Master's Domain… Just where your skill stands, I'll test it out myself." The cool words were prelude to the sword strapped on his side to be drawn.
One azure wind blade flew.
One streak of silver light flashed.
The battle began in earnest.
Can anyone kindly link a few stock images that would suit the cover for my story? And review as well, plz.
Boom! A great ripping sound could be heard as air was shattered by the collision of two wind blades. Shu Yidan's blade technique and the man's sword technique, despite being different had the same core.
No, seeing the edge of the man's sword flash icy blue, Shu Yidan realized the man was actually using blade technique with his sword, to fairly compete with him.
"Azurewind Sky Seizing Seven Blades. That was the first blade, Slashing Wind. I used it with a sword, and you used it with a blade. Yet why is my usage of the technique better than yours?" The man asked, as if speaking to himself.
"Maybe because you are a Nascent Soul and have cultivated this technique for more than 5 years?" Shu Yidan's tone didn't have a hint of sarcasm.
"…That's right. I learnt this blade technique from master 300 years ago, and even if I have given up on the blade, my memory is quite good." Saying this, the tip of the man's sword flashed light blue.
Shu Yidan's blade tip flashed a deep azure. With a single motion, the two of them thrust their blades at each other.
"Second Blade: Piercing Wind." The man said, before a giant finger of wind appeared to strike Shu Yidan down. Shu Yidan himself summoned his own wind finger, and both of them clashed with no victor.
"The essence of our two blade techniques is the same. The power of our two blade techniques is the same. Everything else is completely different… but if Master Azurewind was here, he would have taken you as a disciple on the spot." There was a nostalgic smile on the man's face.
"I would certainly have accepted… but as the current 8th Generation Sect Master's disciple, I don't think I lose out in any case." Hearing this from Shu Yidan, the man smiled. "Anyway, this Second Blade Piercing Wind had the essence of a finger technique. The First Blade Slashing Wind had the essence of the Wind Blade spell. Why is every technique lacking blade intent?"
"Do you know who the 7th Generation Sect Master, Azurewind was? He began as an ordinary martial artist of the Jianghu called Feng Yique. He trained in finger techniques as a martial artist, and when he joined the Heavenly Wind Sect, began training in the Wind Blade spell. The first and second blade techniques are in remembrance of his youth." The man's explanation was concise.
Shu Yidan nodded, accepting the information. The man struck out with the weighty middle of the sword. Shu Yidan struck out with the same stance.
"Third Blade: Shattering Wind!" The man spelled out the name of the technique with his strike. This blade technique was a mighty azure pillar of wind that tyrannically struck, causing the air to strike like a cannon. Shu Yidan's pillar of wind was completely the same as the man's pillar of wind, yet the clash of the pillars cancelled both out without a victor.
"Let me guess, that was a staff technique, huh? Foundation Establishment Staff Technique, Wind Shattering Vajra Staff?" Shu Yidan's sentence caused the man to nod in surprise.
"Fourth Blade, Bladelight Wind! You can guess this technique's source!" Saying this, the man struck out in an instant, and what seemed like a hurricane struck out with an ultrasonic sound!
"Golden Core Blade Technique, Azure Dragon Lustrous Descent!" Screaming this, Shu Yidan flicked his sword and a dragon-shaped wind hurricane left his sword with the roar of an Azure Dragon! In the clash of blade techniques, Shu Yidan's blade decisively won and the man was forced to take three steps back!
"You pushed me back… I didn't expect not training blade techniques for 250 years would leave me disadvantaged against a Golden Core who hasn't even comprehended blade intent…" With a wry smile, the man took a step forward.
"So tell me more… Why did Sect Master Azurewind train in the staff in Foundation Building and the blade in Golden Core?" Shu Yidan asked.
"How should I know what that man thought? As a Foundation Establishment, he slaughtered a Golden Core monk of Joyous Union Buddhist Temple and seized the staff technique from him. As a Golden Core, he had a lucky chance and gained the blade technique from a ruin. He chanced on those techniques and thus trained them. He did not need to be limited by things like talent and suitability." The man's words suddenly lost nostalgia, having a hint of resentment.
"Anyway, prepare yourself! Fifth Blade, Lancet Wind!" The man thrust out his sword once more, using the blade technique of his master, the 7th Generation Sect Master.
But now, his momentum and the wind domain surrounding him rose, showing his boundless strength, completely breaking out of the constraints of the blade technique.
"Combining spear and sword together? Seriously?!" Shu Yidan couldn't help his complaint as his blade thrust out as well.
This time, the winds between the man and Shu Yidan did not change. But Shu Yidan madly thrust out his blade, as if he had gone crazy. Even as he madly swung his blade, he unsteadily took five steps back and finally spat out blood.
"Your sword domain cultivation is splendid, but wasn't this a contest of Azurewind's blade technique? But seriously, using that level of domain against me?! That sword intent can even finish off Nascent Souls if used appropriately!" Shu Yidan couldn't help his accusation.
"You are mistaken. Master Azurewind's Fifth Blade, Lancet Wind is a fusion of sword and spear technique. As it is founded on his sword technique and I cultivate sword technique, naturally I can suppress you with it." The hint of smugness in the man's voice made Shu Yidan want to bite him.
"Anyway, we still have two moves to exchange!" The Sect Master happily looked at his beaten disciple. "How long are you gonna take to recover?"
Shu Yidan paced his breath and looked at his shameless master, before raising his hand. The blade in his hand fell apart, turning into chunks of metal scrap.
"Seriously, your blade technique is so skillful yet your blade itself is so terrible…" The Sect Master looked at the sorry remnants of Shu Yidan's best blade before sighing. "We'll have to pause our exchange of pointers! Don't worry, I'll give you appropriate compensation for that blade."
Watching the man who had carefully destroyed his blade to bring the end to their battle, all so Shu Yidan could keep his 'face' he didn't know what to think.

Seeing this, Shu Yidan knew that he had yet to exchange two blows with the Sect Master. Yet how was the quest complete?
No matter, good fortune was always good. Thinking this, Shu Yidan respectfully bowed to the Sect Master.
Sorry this took so long. Anyway, it was a battle so I had to make it look cool... though I still failed. Or so I think.
