Bab 4: SHELLS TOWN.
After traveling for days on the sea, Luffy got bored. The view was the same, the company was the same.
In order to stop himself form jumping out of the boat and running on the sea at mach speed abandoning Koby, Luffy choose to meditate under the influence of [sage sense].
This caused his power to increase another level. His new stats were:
Sage Mode +1
Attack +200, strength +140, speed + 140, stamina +140, reflexes +140, durability +140, perception +45.
Even this increase in strength didn't bring much joy to Luffy.
Luffy had to wait an extra two days before an Island appeared on the horizon.
A few minutes later they docked at a small sea port. Luffy and Koby set off to explore the new environment, Shells town.
Shells town in the anime was the starting point for the straw hat pirates. It were Luffy met and recruited his first mate Roronoa Zoro the bounty hunter.
"Shells town, so I have to go save Zoro for the marine base and then kick Capt. Morgan's ass." Thought Luffy. But before he could make his way towards the base, he had to have something to eat, eating apples and bread for two weeks isn't a proper meal.
"Koby let's get our self a proper meal"
"I agree, am so hungry."
Luffy and Koby walk in to a restaurant called Food Foo. Sitting at a table they order two of everything on the menu and began to enjoy.
"This Koby is what real food tastes like" mumbled Luffy with a mouth full of food.
Koby gave him a thumbs up because his mouths was too stuffed to speak.
The atmosphere was great for a nice meal. Koby and Luffy were reducing the mountain of food on their table, when trouble walked through the front door.
BANG the door flews open as a blondie haired man in a purple suit walked in, taking a sit opposite Luffy and Koby, he shouted.
"Why hasn't any one bought me food and drink, do I have to kill someone to get some service." this caused the waiters to begin panicking as they quickly bought him some wine and a menu.
Helmeppo liked having power and using it to get want he wanted. His father was Capt. Morgan who is known for his ruthlessness, his name caused fear in the hearts of the people of Shells town.
Helmeppo was enjoying his wine when he saw two people sitting in front of him. One was a pinked haired kid with glass, and the other was a man wearing a straw hat. But what caught his attention was the bag that seem to be filled with gold coins and jewellery. (A/N: I bet you all forgot Luffy robbed Nami).
He really wanted the straw hat man's treasure, so he came with an idea, he would return to the marine base, get so of the marines loyal to his father and take it by force.
"It will all be mine just you wait and see." He thought with a sinister smile on his face. His food was served, he enjoyed it and left without paying.
Luffy watched Helmeppo walk out of the restaurant. Earlier when Helmeppo was planning to rob him, his perception picked up on the malicious intent, he couldn't wait to see what he had planned.
Now satisfied with a full belly, Luffy and Koby began walking around the town checking out sights and sounds when the Koby decide that there was something he had to do so they separated.
Now by himself, Luffy kept wondering the town until he came to cove. Sitting the sand he began to plan his next move. Phase one involved three steps:
Step one was to get a change of clothes. He looked like a little boy who has just left his small village with no idea how the big bad world works.
Step two involved him storming the marine base and rescuing Zoro. His execution should be scheduled for later today.
Step three was to head to Orange town on Organ Island rob Buggy and may be try and recruit Nami. But he doubt that well be possible until he defeat Arlong.
Satisfied with his three step plan he set out to find some new clothes.
Meanwhile back at marine base 153, Helmeppo had gathered his father's loyalist in the court yard.
"I have called all of you here to help me collect some tax form a straw hat man." Then came the ionic bad guy laugh. It was then that he noticed a kid with pink hair. That when he had an idea.
"Why go looking for him when I can just capture his companion and force him to come to me."
"Men arrest that kid" he said pointing at Koby.
