Bab 98: Wait, What!?
After talking about the current strength of the guild and its future, Makarov and I stealthily made our way back to the guild. While the girls showed some signs of suspicion on to us, the rest of the guild didn't pay much attention and so we were ignored. Of course, in order to thwart the girls' attention from us we just said we had a little talk a bit away from the guild so as not to be disturbed.
This didn't completely stop them from giving us that suspicious stare but they decided to let us go free. But Lisanna was still staring at us longer than the others. I swear that if I didn't know any better, I would have suspected that she had a sixth sense type of magic. That girl really has a terrifying perception.
The following two days were spent like normal as some did quests, some hung out in the guild and some trained with me. the girls had also joined us but Anna opted to stay at the sidelines for the time being. She just said that she had something to confirm first before training so I didn't pay it much attention.
Erza and Mira was of course much stronger than the rest so I had them go through a much tougher regimen. Just because they are my girls doesn't mean I was going to go easy on them and it wasn't just these two. Cana, Levy and Lisanna was also put through training that would make them dead tired at the end of it and although there were some complaints from them, they worked hard to complete it. In fact, the complaints were more of a way to get my attention and not to shirk away from the training itself. The girls trained harder than anyone else at the guild since they didn't want to stay behind and let me go through all the dangerous stuff alone all the time.
What happened this time has been a wakeup call for them and so they have been showing a lot of determination during training in order to get stronger. Their improvements were even more than what others had gone through during a two-day time period. Their will and determination played a part in this but nothing could take anything away from their natural talents as well.
While I trained everyone individually as well, the one who benefited the most in these individual session was Laki. If you don't know who Laki is then let's just say that she is a younger female version of Hashirama Senju in terms of ability. Laki is a slim young woman of average height with straight pale lavender hair set in a bowl cut like style, with her fringe covering the left side of her forehead and the right side exposed. She also wears a brown colored pair of glasses that sits in front of her brown eyes.
Compared to others of the guild who was at the same level as her in terms of magic ability, Laki has a lot more than others in her arsenal. But even so, her firepower is nowhere near enough the higher ranking members. But after she began training, she had gotten much stronger due to the training I put her through which increased her firepower while also teaching her different ways of using her wood-make magic. These ideas are something I just copied from Hashirama but she didn't need to know that did she.
At first I really thought her level would be at the ranking I had told Makarov. But as more time passed and the more she trained, I couldn't help but feel how wrong my assessment about her has been. According to the progress she has been showing, she could be the next Hashirama level threat in any world. When I say it like that, I mean the level of threat will correspond to the level of the world she is in.
For example, in the Naruto world, Hashirama was already very close to demi god level. The amount of strength he showed in that world corresponds to Achnologia in this world, Whitebeard in One Piece world, Goku in the Namek arc of Dragon Ball world and so on.
In other words, Laki has the potential to reach Hashirama's level and even surpass it to become a demi god. When I realized this, I decided to be more careful and serious in planning out how to train Laki and so she was given a day off so that I could come up with something. After I remade her training plan, she once again started to train and has gone through tremendous change.
In terms of growth, Laki is the one who showed the most improvement but she is still not quite at the level of Natsu and the others when they were still not training. But reaching that level is only a matter of time. If everything goes according to plan, she would soon catch up to those who were high ranking members of the guild.
Once I came up to this thought, I stopped because I had lost focus while I was having my swords practice since I had recalled I still had to come up with a way to train Anna even though she is not training at the moment. Speaking of swords practice, ever since Erza found out I wielded a sword, she has been asking for spars every single day.
And so far, we have always come to a draw. The reason for that is because I am only using my skills with a sword while sparing with her. I keep my speed and strength at the same level as she has so as not to give her any disadvantage. Doing so not only helped both of us polish our skills, it also helped Erza out with increasing her physical attributes.
While holding back would be detrimental in most cases, this was only a spar of skills for me while Erza still had to go all out. So in a way, I am not holding back against her since she can still learn from our fight.
After I finished my swords practice, I teleported back to the house and took a quick shower to wash off any dirt and sweat. After this, I went down to the kitchen where I started preparing lunch since Anna said she wanted to have lunch with me at the house. Right now, she was at the guild with the rest of the girls.
Honestly, I really wonder what they talk about all the time. I mean, they are always with each other and I can see that they are talking to each other. Just how many things can they talk about, do they ever run out of things to say and just sit there to enjoy the peaceful silence? No, that's just asking for too much from them.
Coming up to here, I stopped these useless thoughts and quickly finished up cooking. After I was done with that, I headed to the guild to pick up Anna. She was the only one who would come with today since Mira was away on a quest.
After we came back, we sat at the dining table and started eating, we had a few chats here and there while eating and I can honestly say that I would soon know how Makarov feels whenever I dropped all those bombs on him. Why? You might be thinking.
"Ray, I'm pregnant."
"Wait, what!" Yup, That's why.
