Bab 816: Monster Hunting

"Right, let's see where that dragon will lead us."

Making up her mind, Ming Yue started moving in the same direction, walking through the wrecked forest. Soon enough, she came across a dirt path and continued on it. 

"Hm?" 

The cultivator stopped in her tracks as she noticed a pair of green eyes and a hissing sound. A short distance away, a shadow suddenly appeared before stumbling at her feet. 

"A child?" 

She looked down and saw a little boy, whose clothes were tattered. He clung to her legs tightly, trembling in fear before looking up at her. His face was drained of any color, eyes red from tears. 

"Pl-please, it killed my... mom and dad."

His words came out as a whisper, both out of fear and exhaustion. He must have run for his life, escaping whatever creature was following him. 

"A trial from one of the Supremes then."
