Bab 475: Finally, A Battle (23)

Everyone that was working on the hole crouched down as much as they could. Those that were on the edge, like the talisman practitioners, walked backwards to go deeper in and crouched down, their hands over their heads.

With a glass shattering sound, the barrier broke, with no one maintaining it and the poison clouds attacking it. Immediately, as if they had been pent up, the poison clouds rushed in, over all the cultivators' heads, and pushed towards the earthen wall. 

Crrrraaccckkkk

Like stepping on dried leaves but a hundred times louder, the poison clouds dug deeper into the wall. The Poisonous Earth Dragon also gradually calmed down.

All was quiet, in the alcove and the cavern below, as if no one had been there, except for the aftermath of the battle, indicating the prescence of others. But the demonic beast could no longer see.
