Though they kept looking back at her, the men never dared to approach. It might be because of the cold aura she was exuding, her face elegant yet expressionless. Or, it might be due to fright of the gentleman behind her who was glaring at all the men in the area with killing intent. Even with a mask on, his eyes looked to be able to kill. Not to mention, his mask looked to be made entirely of gold. No one would be stupid enough to mess with a man who was so rich unless they had an equal amount of wealth or more in their pockets. Even if gold wasn't the most valuable mineral in this world, it was still expensive and was a symbol of status. His clothes were also nothing to scoff at. A palish purple robe with a neat strip of black around the edges, where golden thread weaved simple depictions of demonic beasts. It looks simple compared to the extravagant nobility in the Imperial City but it definitely had an imposing air, especially combined with that air and glare.
