Other than update stability, this is a really good novel. The characters and world are well designed, I think it’s one of the best novels on this app. Most events have a good reason for existing rather than no reason. For example; the system.

MC is below average intelligence. Takes the easy route without making sacrifices. If anyone else had the same system the MC would be left in the dust.

I have been with this book for years read it 3 times simply cause I could not get enough start slow but only gets progressive better and better to the point it a book I will never forget. Top 3 books/Series I have read just based on story development and world building so complex it's weird I have seen many story like it.
I can't rate any higher than this. As of ch 77 I'm just about dropping this too. Grammar, nope. Far-reaching goals and unexpected plot twists...nope, deep-seated conflicts with plenty of context betrayal and or side character progression...nope! The MC is aimless, which grinds my gears...how long are we supposed to read before the actual plot gets fleshed out. Now we're on some long who knows how long journey, separated from his only family and mentors, unrealistically befriends complete strangers and tells all of his secrets...I could go on and on but to be honest, I don't think the author should continue this, I'm genuinely surprised at the reading level of viewers on this site for all of these positive reviews... what BS do you all read in your past time to overlook half of the errors in the writing is beyond me. The author could do better but doesn't. Not only that, he repeats the same errors, grammatical or plotwise repeatedly.

This book is good. In a way as it is entertaining, the word count is satisfactory as well as its wording. of all the books I've read, my writing style is like this--flowery. I've been meaning to ask, at some point around 500+, I can hear Sheldon. Is it just me? Lovely book, kudos. Please answer, dear author .
... well side characters without character, they are all the same besides their clothes. To be fair one is different.. but thats because he doesn't speak. well MC OP beats all 100/100 and if not certainly won't be killed, and will escape when he pleases. Worst part there is literally nothing to the environment. Like they could be living on rocks thats how well explained their environment is.. you dont get any feeling for any city or forest or mountain. they will always quickly reach their destination. There is literally no background story to anything really. a sentence or two maybe on special occasions. ... theres no interaction with the environment besides treasures falling out of it when he cuts a hole.. there nearly never anyone living nearby that could get hurt.. and in the city everyone gets saved. ... this is no game of thrones.. but neither is it anything really. its a bland, high progression novel where the OP Main literally is as naiv as can be normally.. but suddenly becomes buisness smart and calculative just by mentioning that a hes cunning so of course things go his way. overall.. if you need depth in a novel go away
pretty good plot before a few hundred chapters after that it becomes boring at least for me because author often changes POV to a side characters/daniels friends which i dont care about them at all and only want to see the growth of the MC but if you enjoy that then this is a fantastic read
This book is too addictive, it's like top 5 amongst all the books I've seen,but the updating speed is just so so, nothing to say about it, but the story is great actually
as of ch 34 so although this is not a horrible book I do have things that personally irk me. the writing style is fine, but for some reason I can't see the characters depths and personality or at least I'm not connecting like I usually do. and honestly I have a huge prob with these characters they just irk me. like the teachers they should help the mc be hidden and such you know hide you strengths so he is not faced with powerful ppl trying to take him out, but these ppl are putting a huge target on his back and its like they do it intentionally. like come on in the hotel why are they training the mc in front of all the other "students" even in other cultivation manuals even if a teacher likes you he would not try to single you out in class. they would either bring them to a room after class and impart their teachings and skills. like that concept martial artist train at night so other Sect or ppl can't see their skills and Thief them. and all the two important ppl do is put a huge target on his back. also thing that irks me are the free loaders, first of all I thought the ml was going to buy a place to live and the inn to live their it suddenly turned into a school with again freeloaders that's hinder the ml or are there for what purpose. and again now the author is introducing these 3 kids of the man that got mea ir what's her name father killed are coming to the inn and the stupid teacher doesn't even have the strength to stop it. why us our ml living in a place where him enemies see congregating to. like if I was the ml I would have bought the other property, and if this teacher had actually sense he would train the ml in the dark at least trying to stay out of the public eye. idk I just can't get into the book as much as I would like and that's to no disrespect to the author. but I can't continue. honestly the way I thought it was going to go was for some reason the karmic system and maybe is the ml character but he likes saving ppl, and why is always girls 😐, anyways I though he was going to buy the inn from the old man, maybe he would let him stay ,I though the inn would then become a place where when he frees the dlaves with his uncle they will have a place to stay because that was the ml intent of buying the inn. since he knew he would have to maybe take responsibility for them after he frees them like that girl mea or whatever. and these slaves would be grateful and such and would be his forces that would help him idk. I thought it was going more in that direction
Easily one of the best system novels I've ever read. The characters actually feel like real people with their own personalities unlike most cultivation/system novels where characters just exist to push the plot. Above all, however, the greatest thing about this story is its rich world-building that only continues to expand similar to xianxia but in a more logical manner where everything is explained clearly without giving away too much information, just enough to leave you wanting more. The mysteries and foreshadowing of future events are also a big part of what makes the story more interesting. Easily one of the best cultivation novels I've read. If I had to offer criticism though, i'd say that perhaps the story has now peaked but there isn't really a clear ending in sight as far, as a good ending is an important part of the story. The update rate has also slowed down a lot but I don't care I'll still give 5 stars. To those wondering if they want to read the story i would say give the standard bare minimum of 20 chapters and if you don't hate what you see, then read to chapter 99 before deciding if you want to continue, that's I believe where the story really picks up.

I've read up to chapter 227. I'm pretty mixed regarding this novel. It's a decent shounen-esque light novel with emphasis on world-development and character design. I will give the author this, the characters are really good, albeit not the best I've seen in novels but far superior than your average light novel. The world background/design is also amazing, I don't think I've seen a novel similar to this where I know more than four countries in a reasonable timeframe. The story development is a solid 2/5. This is mostly because I can't help but notice that for a huge portion of the novel, the main character is almost always embroiled in a fight with people one or two major realms above him. This, provided with the authors habit of making the main character fight against a conspiracy, plot to harm a lot of people, or similar things in every single place he goes annoys me quite a bit. I think this is actually worse than when a main character kills a young master, fights his father, then his grandfather, then his great grandfather, a patriarch (etc) in cultivation novels. This pacing ruins the novel in my opinion. On another note, this is just a personal gripe of mine and is purely subjective, but I find it incredibly annoying in cultivation novels similar to this where the main character gains power specifically to protect his little sister or family in general, and then I have to watch as the author makes those characters completely irrelevant for the entire story. This is mostly due to the fact that it's not only predictable, but it happens in every single novel similar to this without fail. Overall, it's a good novel, I think the author needs to work on the pacing a bit more, correct the common grammatical mistakes, and tone down some of the long-winded descriptions, but other than that it's a worthwhile read.

This story, unlike many other similar ones, doesn't start with reincarnation or some big strong cultivator being slighted it starts with some random boy without enough to money to even survive. From there we follow our mc Daniel as he grows, both physically and mentally, rising to the occasion for whatever his journey will throw at him. But, this journey isn't without it's struggles, people will be hurt, he will make bad decisions, but he also makes good ones. This sort of writing where even the most neglectable side character has a family, dreams and motivations, is part of what has kept me reading g this novel for years at this point. So to the author thank you, and to the guy who decided to read my little rant, read the novel and maybe you'll love it like I do. TL;DR: Is it good? Yes, do yourself a favour and read it.
one word to describe this. amazing. like seriously I love this (book?). I don't know just the pace, the character development, and the story overall is sublime. I wish he/she wrote more often because I've reread this twice now waiting for more chapters. I'm not even joking. if you haven't already read this, you will not be dissatisfied.
bueno, esta novela llevo años conociendo su existencia pero debido a algunos comentarios la deje en la banca, ahora como bueno ya la mayoría de novelas fáciles de encontrar y con clichés buenos me las he leído, vienen las historias que toca desempolvar un poco y leer full para disfrutar, en fin yo no juzgo muchas cosas solo: el NTR (netorare) violación a chicas/chicos queridos y mujeres del MC, historias sin ninguna justificación ni siquiera inventada con lógica propias del autor para ese mundo especifico (como que en ese mundo es así, por lo que siempre será así en esa situación, lo entiendo), que no haya ningún tipo de romance, que obligues a que el romance sea solamente una tipa cuando casi por obligacion debe haber harem, etc.

An absolutely amazing story which is super underrated, I totally recommend you to check it out, even if you are not convinced that it's good, you should give it a try! (tip: be patient and read it at least till the 10th chapter)

This is one of the best novels on Webnovel with boundless creativity. A unique system and main character, and unholy attention to world building. Instead of side characters just being there and only come into existence when main character is around they progress behind the scenes. Overall just give it a read… unless you’re an emo teen who doesn’t like a novel if mc isnt heartless.
This novel might be good but I hate super gifts in my notifications. I'm shamelessly adding a poor review because I'm forced to look at a notice for this novel.
Easily the most populated world-building as well as the most fun storyline I’ve read. MC isn’t a pushover and is ready to kill when he needs to while impressing those who aren’t aware of his power. Has a gradual power progression that makes sense and fits with the storyline perfectly.
Good book, amazing story line and progression, though i find myself forgetting the actual storyline due to the extremely slow chapter release. Chapters come out approximately once every month, with one chapter being in privalege which is slightly annoying.
Overall good. The System is fairly unique and isnt as OP as it is in some novels, the start of the story is a bit meh with a slow start. What made my rating drop so much was the arcs and pace of the novel. After the first arc it basically becomes Dan get strong, make friend, find bigger badder villian, seperated from friends/family, cultivate for like a year, beat big baddy, find friends, timeskip, repeat. Of course it isnt cut and paste but the constant conflict is mentally exhausting when the book is actively trying to force the MC to get stronger but he never cultivates. He flies around doing other things than just sitting down and cultivating while farming his systems resources. If you pick it up its good but i’d advise a slower pace of reading due to the writting style and release schedule.

Except for the stability of the update, I gave 5 for other things. I know that author could have abandoned the book because he is getting not a single penny from this book now. Still, he didn't and trying his best to write in his free time to make the followers happy. Thanks for your hard work, author-san. I really like your work.
