Bab 10: The Plan #2
In the last few seconds as the bounty hunters slowly tried to recover from their shock. Ayase knew that this time he had messed up.
He knew that at least one of them had to be at least in the True Realm, which was how they managed to capture him, he cursed the seal that that person had put on him, if only it could be released then he wouldn't have to have endured this humiliation, but now wasn't the time for that
After listening to the small brown bird's plan he couldn't help but raise his eye brown in surprise, this plan has way too many holes and he couldn't figure out how a bird who didn't even have a tiny drop of soul power inside it could embolize a True Realm warrior? "Is this really your plan Bird? If so I suggest you think of a new one, if you haven't noticed that man as a cultivation level way above yours, and even if you manage to bypass that large fact, he seems to be flowing with secret treasures that he hasn't shown to us! Not to mention the fact that the man beside him also seems to be holding something back how exactly are we supposed to defeat them?"
The bird only gave the Elf a cold stare that was filled with stubbornness, and arrogance as if the world would somehow ignore all and listen to only her, this made Ayase surprised, not only was the bird brimming with confidence but it excluded a strange aura of royalty that he had only ever felt in his big brother, this aura coupled with the coldness and determination in her eyes made Ayase want to obey it's every word without hesitation
This feeling made Ayase uncomfortable in more ways than one because he had long sworn that the would follow only one person, that he would give total fidelity to only that person till death do them part but now his vow had been wavered by this small tiny bird in front of him!
Lee was getting impatient and the Elf could see that so with slight hesitation he nodded his head "You seem to need me as much as I need you so I'll trust you for now" said the elf finally resigning
This made Lee grin, which sent shivers down Ayase's spine for it was strange seeing it's small beak spread wider than it was supposed to and give him an evil grin straight out of a horror movie. And just in time with his agreement, the bounty hunters finally processed the Elf's words and their faces immediately turned into sneers, eyes full of contempt stared at the tied up elf and gave him a disgusted jeer
"How can a respectful member of the Elven tribe dress as a woman to fool men? I guess the tribe's pride is all just shit spewed to make them look better!" said Trip while he spat near the ground where Ayase laid
The Elven Race was prideful and Nobel Tribe, they were respected everywhere they went and no one had ever dared to insult them, especially in front of him. Never had Ayase been treated as such and to hear the lowly human men insult his race like that made the beautiful face that was once filled with a gentle feminity transform into the face of a bloodthirsty killer
The murderous look in his eyes caused Trip to take unconscious several strep back nearly stepping into the blazing fire, and Fin gained a new uneasy feeling in his heart, his years of training told him that this person, no this beast in front of him was a dangerous entity, one that he should run away from immediately. This feeling made Fins ugly face even uglier as it gained an angry red colour and scrunched up in a way that made him look like it had been stepped on by a stampeding heard of rhinos
How could he, the great Fin that was chosen by the great master Deffell, the master said to be on par with the Academy's principle be scared off by a look from this feminine looking guy, even if he was an elf he was currently bound by the treasure personally made by his master so he had the upper hand in this situation! With great confidence he walked closer to the elf "How dare a lowly crossdressing beast look at me like that! do you know who I am?!"
When he heard these words the fierceness in his eyes increased even more, and without a sound, the little plain looking bird at his feet disappeared suddenly and magically reappeared behind Trip, a cold and malicious glint passing through its eyes
