"I'm not leaving." Asrael didn't move from his spot in the corner.
"Yes you are." Arius told him as he lifted Dante up towards Zuna. Then he jumped down, walking towards Asrael.
"Why do you even want me to come?" Asrael's speaking was close to a growl.
"A selfish reason." Arius answered truthfully as he moved one of the bunny ears out of his face. He didn't feel that Asrael was really as bad as he originally thought.
"You can't even respect my decision not to follow you!" Asrael said with angst.
"What do I have to do to make you come with?" Arius asked gently.
"There is nothing you could do that will make me willing to follow you!" Arsael spat out.
"Then I guess you won't be coming willingly." Arius stepped forward to grab Asrael, the younger man had no way of stopping him as he was brought up and over Arius's shoulder.
"Again!?" Asrael was too exasperated to struggle.
"You brought this upon yourself." Arius told him.
Despite Asraels protests, Arius still managed to get him up through the hole in the ceiling. Though in doing so, Asrael lost his black crown. It had fallen all the way down to the last floor.
"No!" Asrael had screamed.
"I'll get you a new one, just shut up." Arius climbed up as well.
"Can we leave now?" Eirik wanted to get out of the bunny costume as soon as possible.
"Depends." Arius looked at Asrael. "Do you have anything you want to bring with us?"
"No." Asrael said with an angsty undertone. His face change however, when Arius moved to grab him. He dodged. "Don't- I can walk myself!"
"Alright." Arius smiled in victory. "Just tell me when you need some more motivation."
The group made their way out of the building. They were all wearing a bunny onesie, all except one who was wearing all black and dragging his feet.
Arius then seemed to have realized something, every immortal he's met has a certain aura. They were like a different species, of course they kind of were, but it was more like a feeling he got.
Arius had the feeling that Asrael didn't feel as misplaced as he looked. Actually, since he could remember, Arius hadn't felt like he truly belonged till now. Eirik had kicked him into a wall once, but that was water under the bridge. Although, he'd never forgiven anyone so fast.
It simply felt like the group belonged together, and it was a weird feeling since they had only just met. There was something missing though, and Arius didn't know what it was, it could be anything really.
Zuna, Dante, and a reluctant Asrael, were all stuffed into the back seat. Arius was driving and Eirik said in the passenger side. Dante and Asrael stayed quiet most of the ride, but it somehow didn't feel awkward.
"Who's hungry?" Arius asked everyone. Asrael finally saw the light.
"Me!" Zuna excitedly said.
"Can we get icecream?" Dante kicked his legs in the air while sitting.
"Icecream sounds good. Any objections?" Arius nodded in approval. No one else said a thing, so Arius directed himself to the usual place.
"So Asrael, about the Phyrraium..." Eirik went on to ask, "What do you know about it?"
"Why do you want to know?" Asrael gruffed. "You want to die too?"
Eirik took into account the term 'too' that Asrael used, who was it referring to? His mother?
"Simple curiosity, emo one." Arius stated in Eirik's place.
"What did you just call me?" Asrael narrowed his eyes. He didn't have any black makeup on, which caused Arius to feel relief. Though perhaps he shouldn't count his chickens before they hatch.
"Just tell us about the Phyrraium." Eirik seemed to be losing patience, but you could never really tell with him.
"What about it? It's a red rock that turns you into a mortal." Asrael rolled his eyes.
"To what degree does it turn an immortal into a mortal?" Eirik questions.
"I don't know, every degree?" Asrael gave a vague response, it seemed to be his thing.
"Would you be able to die of natural causes with it?" Eirik began to ask.
"Probably." Asrael shrugged.
"Ugh, just say something useful." Zuna complained.
"Respect your elders, girlie" Asrael flaunted his seniority.
"I could say the same for you! There is no way you're older than my dad." Zuna declared.
"Oh?"
Dante is my favorite, but Asrael has a lot of personality...
