As Xavier and Alger were talking among themselves, the other City Lords were looking at them with envious gazes. It was particularly when they looked at Alger. They didn't know what kind of spell Alger used on the Province Lord for him to act this friendly towards him.

"You look very confident." ,One of them, probably the leader of the group said with some disdain in his tone.

Young Master Luke grit his teeth. It was especially when he heard "champions of the preliminaries" from Arjun.
He then gave a cold snort and said, "Keep up with your arrogance. The arrogant people like you will never last long."
"How long I will last has nothing to do with you." ,Arjun said, "And anyhow, I will never take the words of a loser seriously."
"Shut up!" ,Young Master Luke lost his temper. He then looked at Jimmy and said, "Since you are the captain of this entire team, then I came here to challenge you. I am going to participate in the competition through the combat means. Do you people have the enough courage to participate in the competition through the combat means as well? Or, are you people going to piss your pants in fear and have any thoughts of participating in the competition through the lifestyle means?"
"Why does he seem confident in defeating us?" ,Sitaram asked through the mental connection.
"Isn't it obvious?" ,Arjun smiled and said, "He has the back up from the Raven Sect. And the contestants from Raven Sect are strong. On top of that, we have killed their people publicly. And to piss them even further, we have killed the assassination team that were sent to kill us. Adding all these facts together, it is obvious that the Raven Sect will definitely kill us in the competition."
Arjun added, "This Young Master Luke is confident enough that the Raven Sect will find trouble against us. And he convinced himself that the Raven Sect will definitely kill us. His conjecture further deepened when he sensed that person's aura."
When Arjun said "that person", he was referring to Bruce. Bruce was definitely strong. Arjun had to team up with his teammates in order to defeat the Red Ranked Monster. But Brooks depended on himself to kill the Vulture King which has the same might as the Red Ranked Monster.
The terrifying aspect about him is that, Bruce fought and killed the Vulture King all by himself. This is definitely not any ordinary feet. And to Arjun's disadvantage, Bruce belongs to the Raven Sect which made Young Master Luke further assured over the revenge from the Raven Sect against Arjun and his teammates.
If Arjun perished in the competition, then who will become the winner of the bet between Jimmy and Young Master Luke? The answer is self explanatory. At that time, he will not only become the winner of the bet, but his enemy will also perish in the process. This is like hitting two targets with one stone.
But the only problem is that, Star Moon Team should participate in the competition through the Combat Means. If they participated in the competition through the Lifestyle Means, then all his plan will be for vain. So he came all the way to challenge Jimmy and force him to participate in the competition through the combat means.
