Bab 2771: Entertained Well?

The side doors of the grand inner hall in the palace swung open as a group of servers dressed in raven black robes entered carrying a seemingly endless number of dishes. Each server or maid had their arms full, balancing plates and bowls of every shape and size. The aroma of the dishes wafted into the room, causing the guests to murmur in anticipation.

The first server carried a tray of the crisp, golden-brown dragon, accompanied by a variety of spices and sauces. Behind them came another server with a tray of steaming hot spirit rice, their fragrant aroma filling the air. A third server brought in platters of succulent spirit and human meat, marinated in a blend of spices that left the mouth-watering, even for some human immortals who seemed rather used to this.
