Back then, when he shared comprehension clouds of the Three-Eyed White Serpent with Evelynn, he also got some vague insights that helped him reach Elementary Intent in Illusion Laws for the soul, not to mention that he had also gained comprehension in Poison Laws as well, reaching Elementary Intent.
