Bab 1777: A Whole Package

Davis held Lea Weiss with warmth, reaching out his hand to her face, caressing her cheek with gentleness. The lust in his expression had already receded, replaced with a complex expression as though he couldn't really bear the weight of her loving words.

After all, once the lust receded, what replaced his mind was calmness and the consequences of his actions that became clear to him. He had done something which couldn't be taken back.

"Mhm~"

Lea Weiss nodded her head as she still had her arms wrapped around his neck, sharing a lover's embrace. She couldn't help but lean and plant a soft kiss on his lips as she shed a tear, which made Davis's heart tremble.

He didn't need to be a genius to figure out that Lea Weiss was letting herself become vulnerable to him before becoming overcome with emotions that she shed a tear. That spoke volumes about the amount of trust she decided to place in him.
