"Trivial matter?" The Emperor interrupted him coldly, "Plotting to kill a prince is a trivial matter? Enlighten me then, what would be considered serious to you?"

"I...I…" Life had been smooth-sailing for the Eldest Prince in the past few years, as everything was planned out for him. Outside the palace, he had the Li family's support. When he was inside the palace, he had his mother to shield him. As such, he suddenly panicked as he did not know how to handle this situation.
