The next day.
Two Boeing CH-47 Chinook arrived at the campground early in the morning escorted by three Black Hawk helicopters.
They took over the two hundred survivors that they rescued on their way and flew them back towards Buxworth Village. Leo instructed the soldiers to care and prepare a sumptuous meal for the survivors when they got back and have them help around the construction and other things that requires manpower back at the village.
Leo also found out from them that they met a flock of mutated birds that tried to attack them on the way here but the soldiers on the Black Hawk's luckily killed them all before they could even get near them.
Leo breathed a sigh of relief hearing that nothing bad happened to them. After all, meeting mutated birds while flying in the air is bad news and this is also the reason why Leo specifically only had soldiers who are calm and have superb accuracy on hitting fast moving targets, ride on the choppers.
