Bab 253: The Test (II)

Deep in the forest of Mu He kingdom, Hui Lan was navigating her way towards the direction of the thousand-year Ephedra root. 

Despite speeding through the unfamiliar terrain, it didn't slow her down. Most of it was thanks to the detailed map she had with her. While thinking about the map, she couldn't help but be reminded of the person who had given her the map.

…He really had his own way of being worried for others.

Her thoughts drifted off, but she was heading even deeper in the forest. It didn't take long before she approached a large bubbling swamp. 

The swamp covered a large area in the forest and was surrounded by different kinds of trees. Although they were a different kind, the trees had one thing in common; they were all abnormally crooked and bent in weird angles as it was unnaturally shaped that way. Moreover, all different kinds of vine grew along the branches and were hanging from different directions.
