Despite Jin's injuries, he gushed through all the pain away by emitting his Maqi out and the death of his precious comrade forced him to take action just so that he could take vengeance on the person who exacted this action. Of course, there would always be a win or lose side to all fights and it so happened that Jin's side was lacking so terribly that despite their improvements in technology and strength, they were still no match to just one Celestial.
