However, this made them to be more deadly when they were growing and carrying metal blades and tower shields to protect themselves.

(He was not willing to call them Y'm-Bhi at all) The rest who were defending themselves or attacking the Demon Exorcists seem to have various effects being bestowed on them. Some were growing an extra tentacle, a few were repairing their bodies while some had their strength doubled.
