That day was a missing opportunity for Trevon. He didn't get his usual boxes from Uncle Bow. The young Byeontae painter also couldn't practice his drawing.
In the end, he got a special convenience store for himself. Of course, he got another trouble that night. Trevon somehow fell into the pond in his courtyard.
Trevon kept sending some of his daily necessities to the store.
The new perfume from the capital. Sell.
The new skin cares products from the capital. Sell.
The old fan that he used to love. Sell and purchase again.
The old robe that he used to love. Sell and purchase again.
Trevon felt happy with his private store. [I don't need to purchase those products from the merchants again. Also, those old products turn into new ones again.] He hummed.
[I will need to request an increase in margin for cheaper products.] Master Rabbink thought.
It was stressed seeing Trevon put those products. Those products were very bad in the Rabbink's eyes. If the Rabbink improved those items too much, then it would destroy the intention of the original inventor.
Master Rabbink sent a special SMS to The Light. Even when the era had gone from SMS to Instant Messaging Service. Even to Assistant Messaging Service (AMS) in some advanced planets, The Light still used the old and reliable SMS.
[I hope the SMS would be read during the next billions of epochs.] The poor Rabbink found difficulty in contacting its boss.
[We should use Ai from a more advanced era for our communication.] Sometimes, Master Rabbink didn't know why the Light didn't allow to bring technology from an advanced planet to a backward planet.
Master Rabbink even couldn't bring those technologies to its own birth planet. If not, why it needed to use a tablet and a smartphone for its daily task. It could just use the neural chip with Ai as a personal assistant.
Master Rabbink looked to Trevon who readied himself to sleep. He didn't forget to borrow Master Rabbink's Tablet. It didn't check what Trevon had read.
[I will increase the rental fee.] It thought.
While Trevon slept soundly. There was an emergency meeting in McArthur family.
All the active McArthur family elders in Redwood came into the meeting. They all sat behind the meeting table. All seriously looked into the stack of paper in front of them.
"We have missing items worth one million spirit stones and 4.250.256 non-cultivator members fainted today. 1.653.254 were slightly injured while 3.652 people were badly injured. This concludes the damage report from today." Elder Charles stood and reported the total damage from today's mysterious pressure.
While the McArthur family was a cultivator family. The majority of its branch family members and employees were non-cultivators. The biggest problem was during the chaos, some cultivators turned into thieves.
"We will assign Grand Elder Vince, Grand Elder Ponti, Elder Lorry, and Elder John to chase these thieves. We will use a special artifact to track the missing items. Is there anyone objected?" Charles read the conclusion.
Nobody raised an objection. This was only a formalization.
"Next, we will talk about the mysterious master." Elder Charles continued before returned to his seat.
This was the main topic of emergency elder assembly meeting. They had almost completed the mutated beast hunting, and proceed to other business. However, the sudden pressure almost brought Redwood city to destruction.
"Are you sure about this report?" Elder John asked about the question in his report. He didn't believe the reason for the previous topic disaster was in the report. Charles reported his finding from Trevon. However, it was incomplete.
"Yes, Elder John. I and Grand Elder Vince stood near the center of the accident." Charles answered.
"Yes, I can guarantee it. The pressure came from a location near us, Elder John." Grand Elder Vince said.
"This meant the hidden master stays around Trevon." Elder Lorry said.
"You can assume that." Charles answered.
"No matter what, both Elder Charles and Grand Elder Vince couldn't detect the master." John made the conclusion.
"Unfortunately, Yes. I have followed Trevon for this past week, but I couldn't detect anyone." Vince said. He was a Rank 3 warrior, but he couldn't detect the mysterious master.
"The missing foods is an interesting point in Grand Elder Vince's report. We have many reports of mission foods in our food hall. Even Grand Elder Orlan requested the help to stop the missing wings in his store." Lorry said.
"Even Retired Grand Elder Orlan asked our help?" Another elder asked. Everyone knew the retired elder avoided the family.
"Yes. He kept losing wings even after he asked some priests to purify his store."
"The other interesting point is the third point." Elder Josephine added. "Trevon said that the master is in a realm above than immortal, and he is looking both for foods and money."
"A realm above immortal?" Every elder spoke to each other using their spiritual sense.
"This is what Trevon said. We could only accept that." Charles led the discussion again.
"In your report, Trevon also said that the accident is caused by a food." She couldn't believe the report.
"Elder Josephine may not believe this, but at that time Trevon was so shocked. I didn't think he could lie at that moment." Charles said.
"Yes, I also saw the incident. He suddenly spoke right after the pressure appeared. His expression was very shocked." Vince said.
"Then we can assume the incident was caused by a food." John couldn't believe they made this conclusion. He frowned while reading the report again.
"I can show you the event using the spiritual sense." Vince offered. Some elders looked into the situation.
"Should we call Trevon?" Josephine asked.
"I don't think. We need." John said. "The master power is far above us. Even our family head couldn't give a pressure to an entire city. If we go into the master's bad side, things will get pretty dangerous."
"I agree. We should try to get into his good side. We should try to get some benefits from the mysterious master." Lorry said.
"If it is true that the master needs money and foods." John said. "We could use this as our leverage."
"I have this opinion. The master came from a realm higher than immortal to this planet using the meteor. However, he came without money. For some reason, he couldn't use his power to forcefully get money." Charles said.
Everyone listened to Charles.
"We also assumed the master is a gourmet. Grand Elder Vince had said that he saw Trevon and his bodyguard ran around the town looking for foods. This includes visiting Grand Elder Orlan's restaurant. So, I believed his interest in food is correct. While we need to check whether he needed money."
"This seems strange." Lorry said.
"However, what are the others possibility Elder Lorry?" Josephine said.
"We should not only focus on the master. The biggest problem is Trevon. Why is he? There is no reason for such a master to choose Trevon if he wanted a talent, Raina is better than him. We all knew he was stuck in Beginner Rank 1 for these past seven years." Lorry said.
Everyone seemed to agree with Lorry reasoning.
"If the master wants some money, there were richer people in the city. Trevon lost all his treasures even before he met with the master. I think who wants money is Trevon."
Some elder accepted the idea about money. No Rank 4 warrior would care about such money. Even more, if it was a warrior from a higher realm.
"I may have one idea to explain why the master selected Trevon." Elder Mante said. "The Sword."
"So, you mean he came to this world just for the sword?" Charles asked.
"Yes, what else that connecting the elder with Trevon? The elder should arrive here when the meteor came. Trevon came a week later with Alvaro. If the master wanted to pick someone why he didn't pick anyone before." Mante argued.
"We need consider Elder Mante's opinion. I and Grand Elder Vince had greeted the master, but the master didn't want to talk to us. He was unique. Only Trevon could communicate with the master." Charles said.
"However, I want to add another note. He somehow didn't help when Trevon inside the banquet." Vince said. "The possibilities were that he knew about me or that he really didn't have a deep connection with Trevon."
"We need to check about his relationship with Trevon then. Elder Charles, how about you try to ask this to Trevon discreetly. If it is possible, try to ask Trevon to make some profitable connections with the master." John suggested. "Only Elder Charles and Elder Josephine had a direct relationship with Trevon."
"Yes, I actually had planned a meeting with him." Charles said. "I have decided to involve Trevon in the next guard recruitment. I will try to ask about the master during the meeting."
All elders looked into each other. They seemed to agree with the decision.
"Is there anyone who wants to raise an idea?" John asked.
Lorry raised his hand. "I think we should try to buy the light balls from the master. What do you think about the manual Grand Elder Reigh?" He asked.
"I have checked the manual. It is a dark element palm technique, but some part of the manual was missing. It is impossible for me to practice it at a higher level." The protector elder said.
"I have tested the Man level light ball to a guard." Grand Elder Reigh continued. "The martial art showed by the guard was similar to the technique in the manual. However, the guard couldn't tell me the knowledge behind the movement. I could only see him performed the martial art. We still couldn't tell anything since it was still in the beginning. Nevertheless, I have sixty percent confidence that it was the same. I will need a week to fully understand this."
No matter what, both he and the guard had just practiced the martial art for a day.
"I suggest we should buy more light balls from the master." Lorry said.
"We need to move carefully. The price is expensive, especially for Sky level and above." Charles reminded.
"What would we do if the elder disappears the next day?" Lorry said. "This is an opportunity for us. At least, we should buy some cheap man level light balls for testing."
"I will talk with Trevon about the man level light ball, but we need family leader's opinion on this." Charles made some concession. "Both the meteorite and this mysterious master are something above our capability to decide." He reminded.
"How far the family leader team is?" John asked.
"If we are lucky they will arrive tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I have sent an emergency message about the incident today. Therefore, I believe they will reduce their break time and come to Redwood as soon as possible." Charles said.
"I still haven't prepared the accommodation." Josephine said. "Because of today incident. I need to give the workers some rest."
"Then lets us get to work. We have some problems on hand." Charles said. He continued to announce the conclusion made by the assembly.
The next day Trevon woke up early. He woke up at 05.00 so he slept again.
He finally woke at 06.00 and forced himself to practice '1.000 Holy Flashes' Earth level. [For the girl! For the harem!]
[Hahahaha. I made big progress today.] Trevon managed to make five more flashes.
He looked into the sundial in the garden.
[It was 07.00.] Trevon decided to end his morning practice. He still couldn't practice as diligent as when he was young. When he was young, he could practice non-stop for an entire day. That was until he knew the worldly entertainment.
He quickly pressed the troublemeter.
[Nothing happens.] Trevon felt it wasn't fine.
"Master, Young Lady Raina came." Aya came to inform Trevon.
[The trouble comes.] Trevon was afraid. He quickly ran into his room.
"Trevon!!!" A beautiful shout called him.
Trevon was very shocked and accidentally bumped into a pillar. This accident destroyed the pillar and causing the roofs above him to fall directly into Trevon.
[AW... This is the trouble. Now, I need to repair this house.] Trevon wanted to cry. He really couldn't run from the trouble.
Raina laughed. "Hehehe. What's wrong with you? I just want to take you to my father."
Trevon was speechless.
"Did he do anything bad to you, Aya?" Raina asked Aya.
"No, Young Lady Raina. Young Master Trevon is very good to me." Aya said. She barely had any interaction with Trevon other than being a painting model.
"Fine, then. I believe I will capture your tail someday." Raina said.
[That means you hoped me to do bad thing to Aya?] Trevon turned even more speechless. Of course, there would be no way he said this in front Raina.
"Quickly take a bath! I will wait for you." Raina said.
"Ok, Sis." Trevon could only follow Raina order like always.
Trevon slowly took a bath. He wanted to make Raina waiting. The young master really cleaned himself and the junior Trevon.
[Today will be a good day.] Trevon sang in his mind. He had managed to improve his martial arts and as long as Raina wasn't the problem, then everything was fine.
He went outside the room when he was ready.
Raina took him to the family pavilion. On the way, she punched Trevon multiple times because of the time that Trevon took for a bath.
Trevon was quickly taken to Charles's office.
"Trevon greets Uncle Charles." Trevon greeted his uncle with palm and fist greeting.
"What happened to your face?" Charles surprised. He invited Trevon and Raina to sit in his office.
"It is..." Trevon looked into Raina but she stared back to Trevon.
"I just fall from my bed this morning. Hahaha." Trevon made a quick lie.
Charles found the real thing from Trevon's habit. However, he didn't comment further.
"I have some questions for you. Did the master always follow you?" Charles asked.
"Sometimes he disappeared but most of the time he was near me." Trevon answered.
"The master who saved you before?" Raina didn't know many things.
Charles didn't want Raina to join the conversation yet. He gave a sharp gaze to Raina to make her control her words. Trevon would never speak properly if Raina pressed him.
"Is he here right now?" Charles quickly asked.
"Yes, he is in that side eating your snack collection." Trevon pointed to a small cabinet next to the table.
Charles was speechless. He saw his snack slowly disappeared one by one. [Is this a powerful warrior?] Charles couldn't speak what was in his mind.
"Greeting to Supreme Master." Charles tried to greet Master Rabbink. He made a palm and first greeting.
Charles didn't know whether he could ask certain things with Trevon with the master around. However, he needed to purchase some light balls that contained the martial arts. [Should I talk about the recruitment first?]
Master Rabbink of course just ignored Charles.
"He is not a socialize type person." Trevon said.
Raina looked into the disappearing snacks. She didn't dare to ask.
"Oh. Ok." Charles was saved from an awkward moment. "Is it possible for us to talk alone? There are some family secrets that we need to talk."
Trevon looked into Master Rabbink. He then sighed.
"It is impossible, Uncle. He could know everything that he wants to know."
"Yes, it is including your family elder assembly meeting. They wanted to buy more man level lesson from you." Master Rabbink proudly bragged.
"Uncle wanted to buy more light balls from me?" Trevon asked his uncle. He wanted to test Master Rabbink's words.
"How do you know?" Charles was really shocked. [The master could check the elder assembly.]
"He knew." Trevon said.
"Could you tell him that our family interested in some cooperation?" Charles said. The master could hear their meeting, then he could only become direct. There was no longer any need to use recruitment as the reason for today meeting.
"This Rabbink didn't have any interest in anything other than your kowtow. Gwahahaha." It brought a chicken wing from God knew where.
"He is interested in the deal uncle." Trevon could imagine some money.
Charles saw Trevon tried to lie. He looked into Raina.
"Do not lie!" Raina saw his father's code.
"Who lied? I didn't dare to lie in front of the master." Trevon said.
[Trevon dares to lie in front of the master? The master didn't want to make a connection, but Trevon could decide about the connection.] Charles thought.
"What is your relationship with the master?" Charles asked. He was probing how far the master allowed him to ask Trevon. The elder meeting should make the master knew about their family stance.
Trevon looked into Master Rabbink. [I couldn't say that he is my master, what's about a pet?]
"Who is your pet?" Master Rabbink started to materialize many fists around Trevon.
[I am sorry. I am sorry.] Trevon felt a cold shiver on his body. "He is my guide."
Master Rabbink made those fists disappeared.
"Your guide?" Charles was surprised with Trevon answer. [It seems that Trevon wanted to answer something else, but it was prevented by the master.]
"Yes, he will show me the cultivation path?" Trevon said.
"Then, he is your master?" Charles asked.
"Yes, as a student, you have to kowtow to me!" Master Rabbink materialized a pedestal. It stood on top of it.
"No, Uncle." There would no way Trevon became a student of a Rabbink. He had always dreamed to study under a beautiful lady. Besides he made a promise not to do that.
"What is the meaning of a guide?" Charles wanted to make sure.
"He just showed me how. I need to do everything alone." This is what Trevon thought. This Rabbink clearly could make him into a God if it wanted, but it forced him to be tempered in dangers.
"You need to work hard to reach your goal! It will make the cake taste sweeter." Master Rabbink said. "There is a lot limitation that this Rabbink could do to help you. You could check the manual."
[So, he didn't want to directly protect Trevon.] Charles thought.
"Is he taken a fancy of your talent?" Charles said.
"No way!" Master Rabbink said. "You are the worst God apprentice possible. You have spent almost two weeks with the path and still stay at the beginner village. You are... Gosh!!!" The Rabbink took more wings to remove its frustration.
Trevon didn't know what Master Rabbink said. What is a beginner village?
"He said I am a..." Trevon almost wanted to say that he was a talented person. "A handsome person, so he wanted to show me the way. Hahaha." Trevon acted embarrassed.
There was no way Charles believed that. He only looked to Raina. Raina could prevent Trevon to lie that easily. This was the reason he brought Raina here. Since the master allowed her to bully Trevon, he assumed the master was tolerating Raina, a member of the young generation.
"This can't be. What parts of you are handsome? You look like a girl. If he said a beautiful lady, I would believe." Raina taunted Trevon.
"Who is a beautiful lady? If he wanted to choose a beautiful lady, he would choose elder sister Raina, right?" Trevon had learned the hurt way to please Raina.
This made Raina couldn't attack Trevon after getting a praise. Although Trevon was weaker than Raina, he was socially smarter than her.
Charles only coughed a little. He wanted to ask the real reason from Trevon.
"It is because of the previous sword. He said he had some connection with the sword." Trevon said. He had used this planned lie before during the elder assembly. It was no longer a lie for him.
"Oh." Charles couldn't believe the absurd conclusion in the meeting was the same with Trevon's answer.
[Is it because the master could hear our meeting?] Charles thought.
"I want to ask you what kind of food appeared yesterday." Charles asked another topic.
"It is a rendang." Trevon said.
"What is a rendang?" Raina also interested in hearing some foods.
"I could share a normal one." Trevon believed he could promote the rendang. He quickly purchased some rendang from the family store. [I will make a sexy rendang restaurant. That should be allowed here. Hwehwehwe.]
Charles and Raina were surprised to see Trevon took some boxes from his storage ring.
"A rabbink?" Both asked when they saw the logo on Trevon's boxes.
