Tenshi crouched and hid his face behind the guardrails, all in an attempt to hide from the scowling face of Etsuko.
Etsuko, without pause, continued climbing the stairs in haste. Eventually, Tenshi was left all alone in the stairs as he sighed and returned back towards Haruno's flat.
Surely, he had to walk softly and silently, that too with a murderous face.
If Etsuko saw him walking around with no anger or fury, she surely wouldn't believe that he was emotionally hurt; would she?
Etsuko scrutinizing gazed towards the apartment entrance, from where suddenly a girl ran out with a disgusted face.
She frowned even more deeply as she ran inside the apartment, totally not paying attention to the fatty crouching behind her.
"What in the hell is happening here?!"
Etsuko could barely keep her calm. She was always a calm, and rational person; however, an event like this made her confused on how to behave.
She also didn't know what was happening, so as soon as she entered, that was first thing she said.
Haruno had an ashamed and disgraceful expression as she tried to shut off the TV using a remote; a futile effort as her fingers strangely turned into jelly due to fear.
Etsuko's exasperated and furious face paled as she looked towards the TV, wherein she saw a man and her daughter commit intercourse without any shame.
The thing was, Tenshi looked at the TV and paled in confusion, eventually his expression descended into one of furious exclamation.
On the video, a censor-faced maiden was committing loli-pop-sucking on an old, fairly-well-past-sixty man's dick. The funniest thing was, the girl's body resembled Haruno, but if one looked a bit more closely, one would see that her breasts were a lot more bigger than Haruno's.
Turns out, Tenshi mistakenly sent a video from his collector-edition of loli-baba porn videos to the TV, which was played automatically after the last one had ended.
Etsuko's lips twitched as her body started to shake; her blood turned cold. Even more colder than a Naruto-fanfic writer's heart upon seeing the video displayed on the TV.
She could barely believe what was happening, like, it took her a few moments to get her sanity back. Eventually some things clicked in her mind as she prepared her legs and ran towards the TV in order to turn it off.
Fortunately, she could distinguish between this video's sounds and the previous one's sounds. So she didn't have the weird idea of her daughter fucking an old oji-san—unlike the other unfortunate tenants living below them.
She didn't even need to hear anything more as she could clearly see the video displayed on the TV right now as fake. However she was sure that the previous one was something scandalous, and more so, she couldn't see who did what.
One thing was certain: her daughter was no longer pure, and that too with someone else other than her current boyfriend. She could clearly hear whatever happened in that previous video due to the outrageous volume.
"Haruno, what in the hell...is this all true?!" She snarled as she walked towards Haruno with a stumbling gait; her hands were furthermore clenched into tight fists as they threateningly bore into Haruno's fearful eyes.
"Mom, I-I can e-ex-explain! P-please d--"
"I can tell it from your face that you did something wrong! Confess, who was that man on the TV?!?!"
Etsuko's face twisted in displeasure. She unfortunately hadn't seen who was fucking her daughter in that video, otherwise she would've broken everything in the apartment with her fists.
Haruno's tears dampened her collars as she stumbled, and without waiting ran towards another room.
"Stop! Do you honestly think you can avoid this just by running? I'm telling you, I will call your father right here, and now if you don't answer my question!"
Etsuko gritted her teeth and sprinted towards her in order to catch her; meanwhile, hiding behind a sofa, Tenshi was looking at them both with schadenfreude.
Sounds of furious footsteps rang out in the entire apartment as Haruno dashed inside a shared-bathroom, Etsuko in the meanwhile, saw the door of the bathroom bashed shut in front of her as she slapped her fists on it with almost all the strength she could muster.
"Hey! At a time like this; is this all you can do?! Hide your freaking face?! What do you think Tenshi will say when he hears about this, huh?! Didn't you even think for a moment what'll happen to him before doing all of this?!"
Etsuko sighed as she tried to control her anger.
The news of this situation shouldn't have spread by now, and at the best, if it did spread it was still salvageable. Moreover about Tenshi...she still hadn't found a rational excuse for it.
" Come out, Haruno. I won't say anything; just let me know who that man was, and how the entire matter commenced. Is this something recent; like, you had sex with him a week ago once or..."
"Answer me, Haruno; silence won't solve anything! You made your own bed, now it's your fault if it's messy!"
"H-he...he already knows..."
Haruno's sobbing voice came from the other side as an ugly frown came on Etsuko's face; eventually her legs spasmed as she fell on the ground. Unable to cope with reality.
Tenshi again quietly exited the apartment, and sighed in relief upon exiting its doors.
...
Tenshi after approaching the lobby whimpered in acknowledgement; happy from seeing himself fully ruin Haruno's life.
[Say, doesn't it hurt or something?]
The voice within his head softly asked in its, yet-to-change robotic voice.
Tenshi yawned in answer.
<Hurt? For what? it's not like I've been divorce-raped by alimony or something.>
[I don't know, don't humans normally cry over things like these? Your girlfriend was stolen from you, and that happened even though you had a chance to stop it.]
[I mean, you haven't even cried once. Should I take that as being normal for everyone?]
Tenshi's expression twisted into that of displeasure; it formed an expression called: scowl.
<Oh please, crying is for pussies. My own mother told me to kill myself if I ever cry over something, so I've known since a long time ago that doing such is bad. Regardless she wanted me not to cry; and I've been fully heeding her requests since birth. I haven't cried in five years as a result, you know? >
[Huh, that's okay too...but what about, I don't know, telling close ones about this? It's guaranteed to make your loads weaken, you know?]
<Pfft, I'm a man, and I feel nothing. Who will I tell it to anyway? My mother--the only one that probably didn't call me a pussy for it-- was the only person I could safely vent to, and after her, I have no one. >
[There's someone called S--]
<Nothing dries a pussy more faster than a man's feelings. Always remember that spirit. >
[I....okay, sure.]
Tenshi shook his head and ran out from the apartment complex; his mind however was still stuck on a single subject.
Back when he first entered into a conversation with Haruno, the most unusual thing he noticed about her was her outlandish behavior and forceful attitude; as if she was forcing herself into behave like someone else.
Haruno was what you could call a nice, and courteous girl. She would rather try to skirt around a topic and denounce herself instead of hurting—or even try to—others. Which, unfortunately, might as well be the reason she didn't break-up with him even though she was seeing someone else— a side-effect of her so-called "I-want-to-be-friends-with-everyone" personality.
It certainly isn't a bad quality to have to be honest—certified and cemented as true after one would look at her clique of friends and family, of all which were deeply fascinated by her socially-optimized personality.
But of course, good things have drawbacks too—just like one wouldn't be able to date an Asian woman if one had a large penis due to them having shallow vestibules.
Haruno effectively couldn't show her true life, personality or behavior as a result of her so-called personality—which was an adaptive coping mechanism developed by her brain due to her past problem with socializing.
However, Tenshi was rigidly held back on his search for the truth due to a matter regarding him and her relationship in the past.
Tenshi helped her socialize, make friends, solve complex insecurities, and finally, become what she truly is at the moment—not to say he had done everything that resulted in the her of today, but the least summarized explanation would be that he listened to her problems and helped solve them together, and not once did he leave her side of complain, because he thought it was...
...fulfilling to help loved ones.
What a stupid thought to have. Tenshi couldn't believe he thought she was "different" or "uniquely diverse" or an "avant-garde" woman.
Hidden behind every woman was, unfortunately, an emotionless opportunist. Regardless, it was all justified anyway. He was fat and inherently inferior to the majority of the portion of humans. So he didn't think it was something abnormally.
Love doesn't last for more than three and a half years anyway.
[Let me correct that, fellow pseudo-scientist — it isn't love that dies but passion. Passion deteriorates and decays after three and a half years, not love. Get your facts right.]
<Aw, man. You should've let me wallow in self-pity, at least I would've come off as more edgy and pitiable! >
[I seriously don't know what's living inside your brain...are there hamsters inside or something?]
<Touché. >
Tenshi cracked his knuckles and twisted his neck, and sprinted towards his own home in preparation for the upcoming event.
...
...
Tenshi threw his shoes inside a box and looked at the calendar plastered on the wall just beside the entrance of his—rented—house.
29th April.
Fuck, wasn't today supposed to the deadline for the toichi debt recovery?!
Tenshi anxiously entered the house and began to search for money; even though, he knew he wouldn't find much due to his family's history of income.
Tenshi entered the living room and unlocked the wardrobe, wherein he again unlocked a drawer hidden inside and looked if there was any money hidden inside.
Tenshi's face turned sardonic as he watched a lone cockroach burst out from the drawer and spontaneously flyby his face; without a care in the world.
Is his luck so bad that even a cockroach has the galls to act like a boss in front of him...? Really, nigga?
Tenshi shrugged and closed the wardrobe's door, without wait he then leaped on a nearby sofa and grabbed a bottle of water; thinking that he didn't need to prepare money as he'd loot them clean anyway.
A curious expression appeared on his face as he began to think on how much his father's creditors were making—and doling out to the authorities as they certainly wouldn't be able to operate in such a business without doing so.
Certainly, they also wouldn't be some cheap, no-name backwater organization; as the amount of sheer-courage and money required to administer a debt worth a few million yen without securities to some—although once affluent—nobody is outrageous.
Who and what they were: Tenshi was oblivious to, as he had never came face-to-face with them before as his father and their debt management representative always met each other with cumbersome secrecy.
<Remember, I'm going to hypnotize the guy that's going to come here in order to collect the debt; when I hypnotize him—or her— make sure to effectively warp him memories of me into some godlike figure! >
[That can be impossible depending on the context—if he knows you beforehand and shares memories with you, it'll be almost impossible to enforce memories with attributes like "god-like" or "master-like"]
<He shouldn't —and maybe doesn't—know me, or share any memories with me. Since I've never before met with any of them...>
[I know that dumbass, I was talking about him stalking you or something. If he knows what's your real personality is like, it'll be almost next to impossible to employ memories like the ones you've stated.]
<Okay, do your magic. I just want this thing to work, and that's it. >
"BING! BONG! NARUTO IS TRASH! DING! DONG!"
The blaring cacophony of the doorbell rang out as Tenshi cringed in surprise, and it didn't stop with one or two either as it kept blaring and blaring until the person on the other side was satisfied.
"Talk of the fucking devil, and there he is. At my freaking door..."
Tenshi gritted his teeth and lifted himself up from the sofa, and sprinted towards the door in intense anticipation; unlike what one would expect from someone that would soon be hounded by debt sharks.
Tenshi softly unlatched the door, and fucking slammed it open, like a man that hadn't seen his beautiful wife in ten years!
The sidewalk in front of his house lined with green trees was revealed as soon as the door was opened. However, the five men dressed in black surprised him a bit as he thought on how he'd deal with all of them.
"Are you Mr. Tenshi Ayama?"
A golden-spectacled man in tidy clothes asked; his voice sharp and deafening.
The man was handsome, and furthermore a bit appealing to look at due to his style of dressing.
"Yes, I am Tenshi Ayama."
"Good, please let us enter. I am certain you know what we're here for, so let's not waste time with courtesies." The man flashed a quick smile as he literally barged inside the house, by sleekly sliding past the gap left beside Tenshi's right arm on the door still.
The four men left behind nodded as they did the same thing as their master, although in a more polite way as they waited for Tenshi to remove himself from the door.
"Be my guest..." Tenshi heaved a sigh and let them enter the house.
...
"Nice house you have here, Mr. Ayama." The man, cited and demanded to be called by the name: Nero, said as he sat with both of his legs crossed with each other on a sofa.
A look of barely-hidden schadenfreude was exposed in the man's eyes as he sneered, "Can you pay for it? I mean, Mr. Sanada is obviously in heaven right now, and I doubt he can plead others for money in that state, ay?"
"That's my private matter, Mr. Nero. I'm sure I can pay for it."
"Oh? So, you do have money? That expansive statement should also include the money retained after paying off our debt—right? If so, I'm relieved," Nero made an exaggerated sigh of relief.
"because I certainly don't want to see someone else dangled up inside a hospital—it's bad enough to see those sceneries everyday in our office..."
"Was that a passive-aggressive remark you've made to threaten me, Mr. Nero? Because it's not working."
"Oh no, please don't misunderstand, I'm a lawyer myself. I know that, even simple conversations can sometimes get unfortunately taped. So I don't threaten or speak libel against anyone. It's just that I'm saying that such processes take a toll on the human brain. "
" Can we please get on with whatever we're here for? "
Nero scoffed and put a handful of documents on the table.
" Due to you, Mr. Tenshi, being the debtor's one and only child; all the liabilities held under his name have been transferred under yours. And mind you, our debt is a special one; you can't seek bankruptcy protection against us."
"We are legally responsible for showing and providing information regarding the debt; as in case you don't have your own lawyer or a different legal guardian other than your father."
"Now," Nero sniffed a bit and coughed, as he pulled out a specific document from the top of the pile of pages. "this file has all the basic information we're required by law to disclose to you."
Tenshi looked at the blindingly white document with slight scrutiny.
Creditor: Tether Financial Ltd.
Debt: 20,400,000¥
Tenshi didn't bother to read the rest of the document as he furiously threw the document towards Nero, who caught it with a carefree smile.
"What the hell?! Twenty million and four hundred thousand Yen?! Are you kidding me, wasn't only three million left to be repaid?!"
Tenshi licked his lips innerly; what? He was just playing along with these bois. Did you really think that underhanded method would be under his calculations?
Tenshi already knew what type of scheme they would use against him: his father was already dead and he had no one to rely on, not that he had anyone to rely on before anyway. Back to the topic, they would either say that Sanada took another debt before dying, or say that the previous transactions done in installments were all fake.
"Look, Mr. Tenshi. We aren't supposed to be here at this moment, as it's not allowed. Frankly, we're just here to say that your father took another massive debt before dying, nothing else."
"Look, here are the papers. His fingerprints, signature, everything is here." Nero handed him another bunch of papers.
Tenshi didn't accept them as he threw them away again.
"Bullshit! I know you guys are tricking me!"
"Really, Mr. Tenshi? Then sure, you're free to do whatever you want. You can even file lawsuits against us, we won't say anything."
"However, please do repay us our money. We're only giving you this much leeway because you come from a family where two legislators came from."
"And what if I don't? What can you do to me?"
"We can take whatever little money you have left, Mr. Tenshi."
"Let me expose something—"
"Your entire house is rigged." Nero chuckled, and continued, "Not that it's filled with cameras or something, mind you. It's just that we always have to take a bit of precautionary steps—in order to not endanger ourselves..."
"The gas and electric lines are all rigged to perfection, Mr. Tenshi. A single word from me and the entire house will be blown from its roots."
"It won't kill you either, as we'll forcibly oust you before..."
"The thing is, every single house in this neighborhood is owned by us. Meaning we're the ones that are responsible for the leasing process too, so after the explosion, we'll sue you due to damages caused by negligence."
He actually seemed to be enjoying exposing all of his schemes to Tenshi...
" Believe me, the lease was incredibly lopsided. So it'll take a while for it to be thrown out of court too, and in the meanwhile, you'll be once again poor due to the legal fees..."
Tenshi was confused over one thing though.
Why would go through such efforts, to even sacrifice a beautiful house, all in order to make him feel miserable and turn him penniless?
Something was totally wrong here...
...
On a serious note, can I hear how many people are actually going to donate to me?
So far, I've heard one dude say that he'll donate to me. Other than that, there has been no one else even remotely commenting on that topic.
I mean, I'm actually in a cumbersome situation right now. I will remove the donation advertisements as soon as my financial situation returns to its previous state, as I find begging like this to be intensely shameful and disgusting.
On an another note, I've noticed something weird in this time period. The more I beg for something(e.g. comments) the less and less I get it(in chapters where I beg for comments, I get at average 3~5, while I get more than five in the others).
Yo, is this some type of reverse-psychology? Then don't mind me, Naruto isn't trash from now on, and I don't want comments, done?
Wait a minute, that wasn't right. Naruto is still trash? Huh, looks like Naruto cancer exceeds even human psychology! You can't make people hate it more than they do currently! Damn, I've learned something new!
