John was in remarkably good spirits as he walked to the hospital entrance after that simmering kisses with Diane. His smiles were unending. The people he met truly believed something wonderful happened to see him this way. He passed through the corridor and met a few patients walking with their companions. He deliberately stopped, joked and was kind and polite. His smiles were infectious. The people could not help but smiled back and talked with him.

His joy overflowed for one reason. At last, Diane opened her heart to him.

His mind drifted to the time after he pulled and kissed her. He felt she stiffened for a second, but the next thing he knew, she put her arms around his neck and kissed him back. She let go of all that was suppressing her and allowed herself to be filled with his love. His arm tightened as he kissed her luscious lips deeply.
