Bab 406: The Destruction of the Golden Hands

"Do you people really not trust me?" said the golden-robed apostle, sounding a bit exasperated.

"Yeah."

"Now that you know we don't trust you, just save your breath and do as we say."

"..." The golden-robed apostle nodded with an inscrutable expression on his face.

Just then, the ceiling caved in. A beam of golden light fell through like a waterfall. The Demon Spider Lady standing in the corner was reduced to a bloody puddle almost instantly.

The three apostles managed to conjure elemental barriers of various colors over themselves before the beam of light hit them.

The silver-robed apostle's flame elemental barrier was disintegrated in an instant. Having lost his Lord-tier familiar, he was left with two Commander-tier familiars. The paper-thin barrier that his Commander-tier familiars were able to muster didn't stand a chance against the golden beam of light.
