Bab 220: The King of the Dead

Some people in the city were discussing the recent construction program.

"What is this for?"

"I heard they're renovating the square!"

"And the sewers, all of which need to be dredged!"

"Ah, they were built more than a hundred years ago. Should they be dredged now?"

"But, it makes sense. We are getting more and more people in Danello. The original sewers are not modern enough. When floods and storms come, they do not work. So, it should be sorted out properly."

Underneath the Governor's House, a huge hole was excavated and then set up as an altar. This hole was then covered with stones that had been infused with witchcraft.
