"Chris, how did it go?"
A boy with grey eyes who had a beautiful jawline which was coloured with a ruddy complexion enquired Christopher.
His brown hair was parted sideways, each strand possessing a striking flavour as it mixed the golden-colour of the rays hitting them. The tendrils reached out to his neck, giving him a very innocent look. It was accentuated with his pre-mature face which didn't hit puberty yet, with his eyebrows being long and bushy.
His face was emanating hope and optimism as he gazed at the boy in front of him.
He sensed the dejected mood of the older boy and queried him cautiously.
"Chris-?"
"I was rejected."
Instead of comforting him immediately, the ash-grey eyed boy
"Then, we have more reason to win the next auditions!"
Chris was delighted but inwardly he thought...
You should have comforted me...
Christopher sighed. He then diverted the topic.
"Where's Jason? Don't tell me he is missing, he already came alone here and his mom wanted me to take care of him!" Chris looked around.
The boy became restless all of a sudden.
"Ah, don't worry! He met the talent-scout who found him and he was chosen..."
The boy nervously replied, acknowledging the state of mind the other person was in.
"Oh, he got chosen for the trainee program by GWO?"
Christopher looked a little uncomfortable, but the grey-eyed boy bit the bullet and told him.
"No... He was selected for direct-debut!"
Christopher froze, as a wave of inferiority hit him.

I feel like readers might feel that Jason might be with Lucas, but no. He won't. I wanted to avoid tropes and I'm making it was... rebellious as possible!
