Bab 604: Counterattack

Tens of thousands of giant spiders carried Wizard Li warriors who had a bloodthirsty expression on their backs. With their eight limbs bent, their sharp claws with hooks moved swiftly and lightly on the rugged wall at a slope of ninety degrees and charged down at the elite army of the mainlanders.

As for the earth dragon with thick lower limbs and body that was covered with thick scales, they swayingly leaped up the wall being mounted by the native warriors and then leaped out angrily, like a huge boulder being thrown by a sling, straight into the assault formation of the unihorn beast.

In the midst of the fluttering dust, they were not bothered by their predicament of being attacked from all directions. Wielding their long spears, they stabbed at the imperial guards in exchange of their own wounds and caused fresh blood to bloom in the high hill.
