A beaver was an amphibian mammal which looked like a rat. It had sharp teeth, webbed rear feet and expert in swimming. Such an animal usually lived in a deep lake or next to a pond. After they settled down, they would spend the rest of their lives building a dam using saplings, branches or a branch material by intertwining them which was amazing. It caused the water level of the pond they were living in to continuously increase. Sometimes the dam that they built could reach hundreds of meters in size.
Under human civilization's influence, the Amazon River had vast watercourse whereby flood would hardly happen in the jungle even if it was the monsoon season. However, since the beaver changed the water level, it was a different story since the dam would crash.
"I heard about beavers from my biology teacher. Isn't it a rare animal, why are there so many of them gathered here!"
