"Was I supposed to start the Life Training from Earth?" asked Lorne.
BS42 looked at his nephew and shook his head. Why was he the one forced to explain things to his nephew.
"Your father plotted to have you killed so you could begin your journey. The Zimwarn rebel attack was real, but your father could have destroyed them all with a flick of his finger. Part of the training is for you to experience death, hopelessness and thus create within you a need for power.
It's just as Paneneko told you, to be a cultivator you must walk on a path to power. You were already so powerful in your part of the universe and if you had your parents to rely on you would never grow. You would always remain weak," said BS42.
"But I had a family, a wife and children, they were just borne! Why couldn't he wait until at least my children grew up, why...how...how could he do such a thing to his own child!" roared Lorne.
He was more upset than he had ever been before. He hated what his father did to him. He never thought of his father as evil just cold, but now? Lorne, even though briefly, experienced what it felt like to be a father and he would never do such a thing to his children. Who cares about Empires, a strong family is what matters!
Tears came out of his eyes, when had he ever cried. He was so hurt and angry he didn't know what to do, for all of his power he was powerless at this moment.
"I had given up, I gave up on returning to them. I knew it was too late," said Lorne.
"It's not too late, you can still return we just need to find the correct path through the right time disfasia," BS42 began to offer up the same thing Lorne was told thousands of years ago.
"I know I can return back to around the time I left, but I'm not the same person. When I married Mary and we had our children I was only thirty-two. Now, I'm more than forty-five thousand years old! She's a naive child and I'm an old man. I've seen so much of the universe and I am far more jaded than her. I'm still a very optimistic person, but I'm not the same person. I've changed!
I wanted to go back when I was still relatively young, could I really become Mary's husband like this?" Lorne shared everything in his heart. He had given up on returning, how could he?
"There's still something we can do," said BS42.
"Oh yeah, like what?" Lorne barked angrily.
"You could create a clone and erase its memories until it was around thirty-two. It would be you and you would share a connection with it through the soul. You would be able to communicate with it and it could share its experiences with you. You can still have your dream, but you can also continue forward," said BS42.
At first, Lorne wanted to reject this, but as he thought about it he realized it was the only way. His children needed a father and his wife needed a husband.
"I want to make it stronger than my father so he can't do this to me again," said Lorne.
"That might be impossible. Your father is from a much higher realm than this one. We both are, but our power levels are sealed. We can never return to the upper realms without permission.
The plus side of this for us is we are invincible in the lower realms. You can be a peak strength of the lower realm and be the most powerful there, but your clone will never be as strong as your father. Neither will you unless you ascend higher than your father," said BS42.
"Are you as strong as my father?" asked Lorne.
"I was, until I was placed in this Warbox. My soul is still sealed," said BS42.
"Master River was unable to break the seal?" asked Lorne,
"He could but he knows Grandfather and didn't want to start a war over something like this," said BS42.
"Is Grandfather stronger than Master River?" asked Lorne.
"No, they're about the same level of strength. It would be a bloody war if they were to fight and would weaken the cultivators too much. I agree with his decision not to remove the seal. Only I can remove my seal through my own knowledge. If I do that, then Grandfather will not only be upset but excited and help me ascend to his level," said BS42.
"However, I will also create a clone and place it in this Warbox and accompany you home. I'm sure I can convince my brother, given your strength, it is unnecessary to send you on another Life Training.
You'll become a King at first and eventually an Emperor. Earth has already been selected as your Throne Planet. This is the best solution I can offer," said BS42.
Lorne looked at his friends and asked, "Would you three like to come with me, I mean your clones?" asked Lorne.
"I'm not interested in lower realms but creating my own Empire and ascending to the highest realm," said the Overlord.
Tower and B'riri looked at one another before answering, "We would love to send clones with you, but B'riri's pregnant, I don't know if it's the best idea," said Tower.
"It's not a problem, I can clone you as a pregnant woman, you'll have the same child in two different realms. It will be like having twins," laughed BS42.
"Creating a new Amazonian Sect in a lower realm would be a good thing, we've wanted to have sisters from the lower realm," said B'riri.
Tower nodded and both of them agreed.
The Overlord looked over at General Maek once more, "Have you made your decision? Are you coming with me to be free of the Fiend Fate or will I have to kill you?" asked the Overlord.
"I'm coming with you. Make me your right hand man and help me ascend as a cultivator and I will always serve you faithfully," said General Maek.
"Agreed," said the Overlord.
"I hate goodbyes, I'm sure we will cross paths in the future, try not to get in my way" said the Overlord with a domineering smile.
With a short goodbye, the Overlord took Warbox Nimle and Lieutenant Commander Yavo into his Warship. The Warship flew into the air and soon disappeared.
