Bab 129: Their Road to Forever

To say that she was surprised was an understatement. She was shocked and couldn't say a single word to answer him. Even when the medical assistance arrived, she kept silent. Rion also didn't try to raise the topic again and let the medic treat her.

He drove towards her house with her in his passenger seat. He silently berated himself. Was that too soon? Yes. A month of dating, and he was already asking her to marry him. Who in their right mind would accept his proposal so easily?

He kept his eyes on the road, but he was still aware of the awkward silence between him and Sara. He leaned back on his seat and stopped at the front of her house. She silently slipped out from her seat and gave him a kiss on his cheeks like she always did.

Was she running off without giving him an answer?

"You're such an idiot, Rion Stahl," he berated himself.
