In less than half a minute after the message was sent, Song Qingchun received a phone call from Cheng Qingchong.

Song Qingchun stared at the caller ID—Cheng Qingchong—for about half a minute before answering it and putting her phone to her ear.

"Miss Song, good afternoon." Cheng Qingchong launched into her apology after greeting, giving no chance for Song Qingchun to say anything. "I'm sorry for disturbing so late at night."

"It's okay…" Song Qingchun paused for a moment before asking, "Miss Cheng, how can I help you?"

Cheng Qingchong replied, "It's like this, Miss Song. Ten days ago, CEO Su suddenly disappeared. There are many things waiting for him to do at the company; I know this is a bit rude, but I'm wondering if you might know where he is."

So, Miss Cheng has been calling me to ask about Su Zhinian… but there is already nothing between us, why would she think I know where the man is?
