Nathan didn't allow Veronica to utter another word. He grabbed her wrist tightly and pulled her away. But before he left with Veronica, he gave his last orders to his men and police officers.

"Take her to the precinct," Nathan ordered the policemen. He was referring to Cherry. After that, he turned to the bodyguards and said, "Escort your young master and Abigail to the mansion."

Nathan shifted his gaze from the guards to Abigail. "I'll talk to you later." Without waiting for Abigail's response, Nathan turned around, bringing Veronica with him.

Little Ethan, who became silent, just stood on his spot. His expression was unreadable. He gazed in the direction where his father and aunt disappeared to. Abigail didn't know what to say. She could feel the guilt deep inside her heart as she glanced at the young boy.
