Bab 27: Chapter 27: Date (2)
Perseus POV
"You're right, they did follow us." Lia said as we hid in an alley where no one can see us.
We were spying on the students of class A who decided to follow us. They sure are shaking in their boots in the cold, but we have no time for them, I need to find Alice and learn what she's going to tell Brennan, she works as the head information broker only on the weekends, so I know that he's here.
"Forget about them, follow me, I already applied sound magic on us so we can't be heard, but hide your presence and learn to stay out of sight, think of this as training, your brother has to go through the same thing as he works as a detective."
"Won't Brennan be in disguise too?" Lia asked "How would you recognize him?"
"He won't, he's too proud to hide his own face for his own good. He rather be called a pervert than to disguise as someone who is lower than himself since his existence should be something for the rest of us to be in awe of."
"I can totally see why the 13 gods don't like him now." she nodded in response
We then have a cool parkour montage as we jumped from roof to roof, wall climb and many other tricks as we headed to Alice's location, though no one seen us so far and probably never will, Alice will know that I'm already in her territory. She's smart enough to know that I want to know what Brennan will learn.
She changes location every time so people like me can't just warp there to annoy her, but I'll find her. And sure enough...this time...it's in a luxury bathhouse, shit, she knows that I wouldn't go in there, and if I spy from the outside, I'll be a creep, luckily, I got Lia here, but at the same time, I can't just ask her to walk into the enemy's territory alone and without anything on.
I can see the uniform of her most trusted spies guarding the place, only a few people would recognize the design and that's only because she told me directly if I want to find her any time.
"Mixed bath...wow, that sure is something." Lia commented "My dad would kill the both of us if he finds out we're here."
"Well there is a more innocent section about 3 km that way for people who were forced to come here against their will."
"You come here a lot?"
"Only for information, nothing else, don't worry, spy from the outside and keep a lookout, call me if you are in danger, text me through the system if you got something, in this barrier I just casted, you should be good after I head in."
"Through the entrance? People will know who you are when you get to the changing room."
"Of course not, I'll just sneak through the hot vents, she's probably in a sauna somewhere in there. Here's take my jacket, I can use magic to cool myself in the vents, but I need to make myself smaller to fit in the vents"
"Are you going to take off your shirt?" she asked
"Why?"
"Nothing."

Sure enough I snuck in through the vents and used magic to turn me as small as possible, I just become about half a meter tall and snuck there, I was wrong, she isn't in the sauna, I just saw some other people, it took a while but I found Brennan fully armored talking to Alice who is hidden by a curtain taking a bath in this gigantic bathtub.
Luckily, I'm on the other side of the curtain on Brennan's side. I then got a direct message from...Alice.
'Too bad that I don't have one right above me, I would love for you to see.'
Damn her. Readers, I know you're thinking of something lewd with your imagination right now, but please bonk yourselves.
"What do you know about that brat from your past 2 meetings?" Brennan asked "I paid a lot for this appointment, so get straight to the point, I know you know some skills apart from a storm of blades."
"You should've have seen our faces when we saw that the new person to become a ranked was a mere foul mouth 16 year old." Alice giggled "Well it's pretty simple, and even as much as you hate it, it's fact that his strength matches the top 13, his swordsmanship is good, probably one of the best, but pure swordsmanship, you have more experience."
"Even I know that, he barely have weaknesses, so just tell me a couple skill or 2."
"Well one thing for sure is that he's very cautious, some might say too cautious, I'm sure you can use that information to your advantage. As for skill, beware of his words and his eyes, that's all I know. But magic wise, you should also have some experience over him." she replied "And one weakness for sure, when he's occupied with an opponent of a similar strength, his focus will b entirely on that person, he will not realize what is going on in his surroundings, that's how the Thunder Saint beat him when he was 16."
"Same strength might be exaggerating it, he would barely stand if he fought with that stupid saint." Brennan retorted
"The saint tested him by lowering his power level on purpose, so trust me on that, if you make him focus on you, you can use your more overwhelming experience to finish him once and for all with the traps you set."
"Thanks, that's all I need to hear." Brennan then left.
After a while, I got a direct message from Lia.
'He just headed out and left with a few of his clan members.'
I broke through the vent and turned into my original size since it felt really uncomfortable.
"I hid my presence well, how'd you know? I even use magic to hide myself from detectors."
"You shadow, I can always sense a shadow." she answered as she pulled open the curtain, I then pull a nearby towel and threw it to her.
"Not flustered at all, you sure are different from the others." she teased
"Dress up, I also need info."
