Bab 462: Dressing Up

The blond lady raised her brows and asked, "What're you giving this to me for?"

"Didn't you need it?"

"You idiot!" The lady scolded as a few of her friends glanced at her. So she lowered her voice, "I can't be the one doing this, and you know it!"

The assistant knew what her boss was doing and pursed her lips. She didn't want to be the one to put this drink in the crown prince's partner. If she were to get caught, she knew things wouldn't end well, and knowing her selfish boss, she knew she wouldn't get any help.

So she calmly tucked the bottle in her skirt pocket and looked coldly at her boss. "I know I might get fired for this, but it would be way better than to get jailed or, worse, killed by the king himself for a crime I didn't want to commit."
