Bab 66: Hidden Gratitude

Wataru had been incredibly busy lately, frequently going out and putting his main job as a writer on hold. Despite his recent surge of activity, he had always been an indoor type of guy.

Now, back at his parents' house, a place where he could truly relax, he felt his body, weary from the past few days of constant movement, urging him to take a well-deserved rest.

He lay on the bed in his old room on the second floor, casually scrolling through the news on his smartphone. Due to his increasing social circle, he'd been paying more attention to sports updates recently.

It seemed even baseball players didn't get a break during the Bon Festival. He saw that Ryota Endo had hit a timely RBI.

"Ryota's still going strong, huh?"

"Master, are you okay?"

"Yeah, thanks. I'm just going to take it easy for a bit. Oh, by the way, you remember Ryota, right? The guy we met the other day? Looks like he's doing great."
