Chen Wei was momentarily taken aback, thinking that Lian Yingying was keeping something confidential by not mentioning it to him.

Chen Wei hesitated for a moment, then shook his head and said with a smile, "Even if someone needs to be dropped off, it should be me dropping you off, not the other way around. Let's do this: we'll take a taxi, I'll drop you off in the east, then I'll go back to the north."
Lian Yingying tilted her head, pondered for a moment, and said with some hesitation, "I've been drinking, so I can't drive. If we call a designated driver, my car can't fit three people. The driver kept on marveling.
Chen Wei just smiled and didn't say much.
He admitted that Lian Yingying was beautiful, and her family background was probably impressive.
But what set Lian Yingying apart was that she wasn't like other wealthy girls; she was easygoing.
This was evident from her behavior at the restaurant, where she didn't care about appearances and drank and ate heartily, and then even shared a cab with him.

He hadn't broken up with Xu Lili yet.
