Wang Zhaoguo had his pride. Since they didn't invite him, he didn't feel right asking to join them. This gave him a confidence boost, making him believe he could succeed on his own, even without Chen Wei's guidance.
This fragile sense of pride and confidence led Wang Zhaoguo to stay at Meitai and in Group Seven. With so few people left, he thought he would be considered a senior member now. Although he didn't aspire to be the team leader, he expected the new leader would rely on the old members.
That evening, upon arriving at the company, Wang Zhaoguo saw that Group Seven had many new faces, all recently hired. There were more than twenty newcomers! The few remaining old members were surrounded by these newcomers, enthusiastically explaining Meitai and the trading industry.
Without the heavyweights like Chen Wei and Zheng Junpeng, the old members now seemed like experts in the eyes of the newcomers. Their admiration made the veterans feel proud and comfortable.

Initially taken aback by the attention, Wang Zhaoguo quickly adjusted, feeling a swell of pride. He modestly told the newcomers, "I'm actually quite average, but feel free to ask me anything. I won't hold back."

The praise inflated Wang Zhaoguo's ego, making him believe staying at Meitai was the right choice.
Soon, Wang Wentao introduced Yuan Tong as the new leader of Group Seven. The old members couldn't argue against Yuan Tong's appointment, as he was a top performer with more experience and seniority. The previous conflicts Yuan Tong had were with Chen Wei and Zhou Yi, not with them.
After Wang Wentao's speech, Yuan Tong reassigned the seating, pairing each old member with several newcomers. Yuan even moved his seat to join the group, showing his commitment to lead by example, which further motivated everyone.
Following the orientation, Yuan Tong privately spoke to the senior members, encouraging them to work hard to rebuild Group Seven. He promised to teach them new trading methods, criticizing Chen Wei's approach as luck-based and unsustainable.
The old members, eager to please Yuan Tong, echoed his sentiments, even Wang Zhaoguo. Returning to the trading floor, they began explaining the software to the newcomers. When the market opened, they looked for opportunities and continued teaching.
Newcomers typically observed and learned before practicing with demo accounts. They were eager and excited about their new careers in trading.
The veterans, especially Wang Zhaoguo, were ready to impress. Spotting a good opportunity, Wang Zhaoguo entered a trade and made fifty dollars quickly.
"Wow, is that fifty dollars?" a newcomer exclaimed.
