And the other is afo, who only found out about Horizons worth during the sports festival, at wich point the parent where already executed)

If i have to fight superhumans id rather be able to boost my body with magic and stay away shooting stuff than having to go into close combat with my normal physical capabilities without boost, especially since most if those superhumans are known to be some of the best fighters to ever have lived. even if they have some amount of magic resistance.
