Since he could use Psychometry through his sword, Rayleigh could obtain some of the swordsmanship insights of the styles others used every time his sword made contact with theirs. Rayleigh didn't particularly care about winning or losing. He just wanted to make himself stronger, so he would take everything from these God's Knights before moving on. He already had another target in mind when he was done.
