The story is intruiging and I especially loved the cliffhanger at the end. The writing is clear, not perfect but also precise. There are some details that stand out to me but overall, It’s an interesting story.
“P-please let me go..” I stammered and before I knew it, I was word vomiting while crying. “—I won’t return. You won’t ever see me again. I know you don’t want me as a mate. You hate me, so please let me go.” I cried out.
Cain’s jaw tightened with each word that left my lips “What gave you the idea that you have the power to choose what you want?” His voice was low, “You don’t get to decide what, how, and when you leave. Only I get to do that. You don’t get to leave me, you don’t get to run! You only leave when I want you to.”
"I didn’t ask for this,” I whispered, trembling. “I didn’t ask to be your mate.”
Cain stepped back, “Neither did I,” he muttered under his breath. “But the bond doesn’t give us a choice, does it?”

Kieran's eyes narrowed, a distasteful scowl on his face. "We are not mates, Katherine. The goddess is mistaken. I don't do mates. I don't do relationships."
"Will you reject me?"
"Reject you? No! I won’t reject you nor will I accept you. You will stay here, under my watch. You'll never be recognized as my mate, nor will you be treated any differently than the other members. You will work and earn your stay just like everyone else. I tell you this, Katherine. Not a single soul must know we are mates.
When Sophia Anderson flees her own wedding, her sister Willow is unexpectedly thrust into the role of her substitute bride, turning Willow’s already tumultuous life into a waking nightmare.
Three years later, Sophia reemerges, supported by the family, to reclaim her position as Alejandro’s wife, leaving Willow cast aside and forgotten.
“What about the night we shared? Didn’t it mean anything to you?” Willow asked, her voice shaky, terrified of his response and yet knew his response will finalize it all.
Alejandro scoffed, eyebrows raised like he couldn’t believe his ears. "The night we shared was utterly insignificant, Willow. It meant nothing to me. Don't delude yourself into thinking it held any importance.” He spat out without hesitation.
Alejandro looks at her dead in the eye, "Sign the divorce papers, Willow and leave. I don’t ever want to see your face around here anymore.”
