This book is a gem! I like how the author flip tropes and the humor too. I laughed a lot. FL is cool and ML is two-faced. Hahaha.
I really, really enjoy this book. The story is refreshing and the characters' reactions are funny. I like that we get to see the dark side of common romantic stories that we grew up reading. Although I think that the povs of the original leads are too long and annoying, that makes their down-fall more fun. I've got to say, Ye Xiao is my favorite character. I love how she's arrogant and lives up to her villainess character. Her love of gossip, sharp tongue, self-confidence and misunderstandings makes her a unique yet relatable lead in my book. I have high hopes for this story and I wish that the side characters finally gets their happy ending. 😘🥰
