Overall this is extremely enjoyable with good pacing as well as being well written. The core trio introduced are really interesting, their dynamic is in its early stages but it’s already growing stronger. Theres also some really strong world building early on, it makes you have more questions for what’s to come further down the line and doesn’t give you all the answers, just enough to really build your interest. I like how Alex’s powers work differently than everyone else and he’s having to figure out how to best make use of them too. I highly recommend this, well worth your time!
I completely forgot about that my bad. Even so, surely before heading out to war he could’ve just evolved then, no? By that point it’s not worth prolonging it for the evolution points for low rank monsters when he’s off to fight an army that has a lot more man power and if he wins he’d improve his territory anyway. Regardless I was just taking it as this as a moment of negligence, one where he has to learn a lesson the hard way.
