I’d definitely love to see a POV chapter to get a sense of what mom is feeling. I also wonder how sister is doing her school life sounded rough. We still have some time before Big Ray shows up, though
The author did a fantastic job of making me despise a character we haven't even met yet, I'm rooting for ray. The world feels incredibly dark and unforgiving, just hope the MC is clever, strategic, and resilient enough to not fall in these dangers or letting harm come to those in his group.
